Making your way in the epl today
Takes everything you've got
Taking a break from all those games
Sure would help a whole lot
Wouldn't you like to get away?
All those nights when you've got no lights

The check is in the mail
And your little agent
Hung that chairman by its tail
And your third club didn't show

Sometimes you want to go
Where no one knows your name
But they're always glad you came
You want to be where you can see
Our troubles are all the same
You want to be where no one knows your name

Cheers!

The fuck is wrong with me to think waiting to sign a guy until Mid-July is "too late?"
You aren't wrong man, we can't wait until then for such an important position. What if he doesn't sign? It's a huge risk as we could miss out on other options between now and then and be left scrambling for a replacement.

It’s too bad because I had really come around on him and wanted this one. But given the last three weeks, no doubt Paratici will pivot and get someone in we’re all happy about.

What I know is, deadline has been set on key signings. And with Richarlison indicating he wants to enjoy his holidays until mid-July, and Everton being ridiculously high on their valuation, we are pursuing other targets as things stand.
Thanks for the update ????

He can be on his holiday while his agent and the two clubs talk. There are things called mobile phones. He doesn't have to physically be there really until the final stages. I'm sure if/when Everton agree a fee with a club then he'll come back to finish it off.

Not buying it, he needs to be parked outside the training ground for the next 2 weeks to show his commitment to the move.

Maybe not angry but you seem pretty upset that he's not acting out to force a move. Maybe he's just being professional? Maybe he's already told Everton of his desire to leave and Everton are willing once his valuation has been met? Maybe his agent is putting pressure on Everton to lower their asking price? Maybe us "moving on" is to put pressure on Everton to lower their price?

Don’t think I’ve come across upset whatsoever to be honest, I answered your original question based on how I’d approach it if I was in his position and also said I have no issue with him being on holiday. nothing I said was suggesting any behaviour that would be considered unprofessional either.

I’d be happy landing Richarlison personally and I’d be disappointed if that didn’t come about because the club had doubts over his commitment.

Tbf we had a big holiday saga with Ndombele and he barely got off the beach during his whole time with us

I think some of us are being a bit harsh on Richarlison here. A fee hasn't been agreed with Everton yet, what's he supposed to do, sit around in his living room scratching his balls until we've agreed a fee?
That's our job!!!!!

Completely mad comments in here tbh. Back to my musical comment earlier, bed wetters of the world unite.

I’m sure the club and player/agent are all totally in control of the situation.

He ticks so many boxes, just get it hard to see us paying 70M, nearer 50M and think it would get done, especially if Everton under increasing financial strife.

So Darren Lewis seemed to be on the money RE Bremer as our next target. But he did also mention Richarlison in the same sentence.

Sorry if it's been acknowledged already though. Got to be 1 of the 5 WLB alluded to in his ITK update.

Given the choice between him and Raphina, I’m favouring Rapinha and would love to see what he could do in a decent side.

Raphina is the better player on the eye, but Richarliason is more adaptable and can cover more positions. Doubt we will end up with either but that's my take on it

If we agree the fee, then supposedly agents do the rest and let Richarlison spend his holiday. Simple.
