I guess the more we get out of Ajax the closer we can get to Everton's asking price. Get Ajax up to £30m and suddenly £50-55m doesn't seem so bad.

I have zero idea of the financials involved but would be shocked if 60m isn't the top end with plenty of add ons included.

I also don't feel if the quoted 60m is true that it's steep. The guy can play across three positions, providing us with the much needed backup striker option we have been crying out for as well as providing competition for Son & Kulu.

Bringing him in solves two problems in one, thus freeing up more money for other positions (mainly LCB).

I'm all for his signature. Conte apparently loves him and I genuinely feel he could explode under him.
