You missed out the bit where Bergjwin still wants Ajax

Of course he does, but it could end up like the Raphinha situation where the preferred club gets priced out of contention which is possible with Newcastle, Everton and possibly Utd interested.

bottom of the article says something alone the lines of “…but the players patience is wearing thin” (google translate)

not out of the question he does something similar to botman, where he waited 6+ months for milan just for them to keep fucking him about and then he said fuck it im off to newcastle

Ajax will pay up eventually IMO.

They're about to lose half their team :ROFLMAO:

Richarlison: Despite Chelsea's interest, talks between Tottenham and Everton are moving in a positive light. With the Brazilian striker there is already a negotiation well underway. Agreement should be around £60m (in principle, without involving players in exchange)

Was this the guy that said we’d agreed a deal all those weeks back? Or is he the super reliable journo on Brazilian/Portuguese transfers? I can’t remember

This definitely seems to be picking up pace now.

Yeah. I mean Levy and Kenwright having dinner last night wasn’t a coincidence ? This one is happening..

I was hoping that we’d see some movement outside of the Richarlison deal this week though

£60m then Winks goes their way for £20m, the terms of the Dele agreement are finalized since it was conditioned on a lot of things last year. So ends up being £30m deal

60 million seems so steep for him!
I have zero idea of the financials involved but would be shocked if 60m isn't the top end with plenty of add ons included.

I also don't feel if the quoted 60m is true that it's steep. The guy can play across three positions, providing us with the much needed backup striker option we have been crying out for as well as providing competition for Son & Kulu.

Bringing him in solves two problems in one, thus freeing up more money for other positions (mainly LCB).

I'm all for his signature. Conte apparently loves him and I genuinely feel he could explode under him.
