Levy & Paratici have decades worth of contacts, relationships & experience in football transfers between them, and are making it show with the way they've attacked this window so far. Meanwhile, Boehly has appointed himself as Sporting Director at Chelsea and seems to be struggling to get to grips with the vast differences between the football transfer market and the US sports player trading markets he is more accustomed to. It's a big summer for them, having already lost Rudiger, Christensen and Lukaku with nothing to show in return, so they're relying on him learning quickly.Boehly isn't exactly making friends is he? Seems to be trying to hijack every deal under the sun and making offers here there and everywhere.
Can't really do worse transfer business than Chelsea's previous regime did in recent years, but I can't help but get "Daniel Levy running around Spain with a wheelbarrow of cash" vibes from the guy.
I think anyone expecting Chelsea to continue operating in the same free-spending way as they did under Abramovich are in for a surprise.
