I want him to succeed. But I’d be stunned if, in the not too distant future, he’s been replaced as a starter.

Johnson, Gil or Solomon all, IMO, will offer more when settled into this team

Must disagree on Kulu who I believe has played well so far this season.
I think Kulu has been decent this season but if I’m being critical i don’t think he’s at the standard required if we hope to win the league or seriously challenge in Europe. Maybe he still goes up a level, we’ve seen what he is capable of in the past, but currently I think he’s a good squad player but could should be upgraded on. I don’t see him getting into the starting line up of any of the other team’s challenging for top spots.

Richy on the other hand is just not good enough technically to be a winger in a possession heavy team. He just isn’t good enough with the ball at his feet. I feel sorry for him because he clearly tries and he’s obviously going through a tough patch but for me I’d prefer to see Johnson or Gil given a chance on the wing.

In general I’d say looking at our starting 11 currently the WF’s are the only positions that don’t quite match the quality of the rest of the team.

Yeah exactly this. If you wanna step up to the next level you have to upgrade your first 11 and squad and those are the 2 gaps in our first 11 that aren’t right. Johnson may play one gap but we need an elite winger.
All the best teams in the world have a game changing winger. Someone who teams have to double up on would create so much space for our system.
Then it’s about plugging the gaps in the squad.

Imagine scoring an overhead volley during the World Cup and you still miss out on the Puskas award to a guy with one leg :wideyed:

Providing we get back a fair bit of what we paid for him, this is the best deal for all concerned. Feel for him, love his effort and attitude but he just isn't good enough to be a starter for a team looking at challenging in this league.

Interesting. Is that what he wants, or are Spurs looking to move him on, or both?

Yes he hasn't hit the levels he would have liked in his short time here, but surely we've been as supportive as possible at least during this season. He's playing regularly and he's in a team that could win big things or at least move in the right direction to winning.

What? is this something we should mock Richarlison for? Or maybe we can be just be happy for the disabled man, who faces difficulty and will forever have this as a highlight in his life?

Come on

Given Richarlison's political leanings you'd have to think it's incredibly unlikely that he'd go to Saudi.

Don't fall for it. That post doesn't deserve a reply.

If that’s the case then I hope Johnson and Gil move ahead of him in the pecking order for the wide spots.
