What do people think about this one , aside from excitement about actually signing a player? Does anyone think we should have gone for Zakaria?
After we’ve been bitten with two very expensive flops, I’m quite pleased we’re signing two industrious hard workers, even if they aren’t the most glamorous headline grabbers.

I dont know why but ive always wanted us to sign a Uruguayan player, there's something about their mentality, they're just relentless

I know absolutely nothing about him, but hope he turns out good for us, our luck with transfers must surely take an upward trajectory at some point!

Hopefully great additions.
I personally think our midfield is where we are really poor and need a complete overhaul now and summer.

This is so exciting finally on day 30th 2 quality signings right away. Betancur is definitely a starter material. He was already considered the next big thing when playing for Boca Juniors. I am surprised Juve let him go actually.

So Gil - Valencia
Ndombele - Lyon replaced by Betancur
Lo Celso - Villarreal (?)
Bergwjin - Ajax (?) replaced by Kulu
Alli - ?

We definitely need more players. I see 4 of them at least out in 48 hours.

Having a lot of South Americans is a bit of problem with their internationals. Also, I can’t remember too many South Americans that have really done that well in the PL other than Suarez but I’m probably overlooking a few.
Yes mate, your overlooking loads. I mean apart from those mentioned already, there's Juninho, arsenal had Edu and Gilbert, who did pretty well.
There have been loads of successful South Americans in the Prem, since Ardiles and Villa.

Aguero, Tevez, Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia had a good few years, Alisson, Fabinho, Coutinho (as much as I call him Shootinho) to name a few off the top of my head
