You look at this and you wonder why on earth they are selling him. Fee isn't even huge either (maybe we're overpaying on Kulu to offset due to his sell on clause?).

I guess they blew their budget on Vlahovic and he's a necessary sacrifice to lock down their number 9 position for the next decade.
The stats were from last season, and apparently he has not been as good under Allegri in a 2 man CM this year. A necessary sacrifice to afford Vlahovic as well (as you point out).

24 years old, 46 international caps, 2 x Primera Divisións, 1 x Copa Argentina, 3 x Serie A titles,
2 x Coppa Italias, 2 x Supercoppa Italianas.
An impressive array of trophies and he's definitely come to the right club if he wants that list to grow longer!

If we sign a better player than him today, then we have done unbelievably well

I think he will turn out to be a super additions

Juve fans seem to have a similar level of opinion as our fans do of Harry Winks. I have seen just as many videos of his fuck ups, as I have his highlights.

Reading between the lines it seems, like Winks, he suffered from playing for a manager who doesn't value possession. Some of his best football came under Sarri when he played as a Regista in a possession focused system.

It seems like he has lost confidence playing in a midfield two in a 442 where his main role is to mark and cover space, in a more defensive system under Allegri.

I would hope with better coaching and a more defined role in a Conte team he should regain confidence. He definitely seems to have all the tools to thrive in the prem.

The more I research Bentancur the more excited I am becoming ... (also nice to see Sarr in an overlap segment as well).

In his last game which was against AC Milan:

£15m, potentially rising to £4m in add ons. Seems a very good deal to me.
Lot of rumours we've pumped up the Kulusevski deal so they'd sell us Bentancur for cheaper, saving Juve paying as much of the big sell-on fee.

In reality, they're probably both worth something around 25-30m but we've pumped up one deal and lowered another to help Juve.

Been speaking to a Juve fan at work and he reckons the biggest/only issue with him is consistency and sometimes going missing in games. That aside he rates him and reckons he will do very well in the PL. Reckons hes an energetic player and that he absolutely bossed the midfield in his first season or so then dropped off a little. Sounds like he may have the ability to take us up a level in that CM area if he hits the ground running and conte can get performance levels maintained.

Personally really excited to see what he can do and will be great for conte to have rotation options that he actually trusts.

He never had a bad season, worst case he ends up being average and sellable. Think he will have similar impact to Wanyama for us.
