We have some really tough games in December and having him back, fully fit in November ( if all goes well ) would coincide nicely with those fixtures and give us flexibility with rotation on those quick turn-around weeks.

City on December 2nd
West Ham
on December 5th
Newcastle
on December 9th
Nottingham
on December 16th
Everton
on December 23rd
Brighton
on December 26th
Bournemouth
on December 30th

I think building him up for those December fixtures will be key. Our squad depth is going to be severely tested during that run.

I love him. Physically looks like he is on the mend. Mentally he seems the type to not let it bother him either although I don't think we will be seeing too much of him this year. It will be very sparodic. I personally can't wait for him to come back. What a player.

Things are so good and positive at the moment I completely forgot we still have our best CM to come back soon!!!

Him, Bissouma & Maddison for me would be the best midfield 3 in the PL and I genuinely mean that. That 3 would have everything.
It is an amazing midfield but let's be real its not better than Rodri, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva/Kovacic.

A bit unfair to Sarr who has been simply immense this season. Against SU he quietly bossed the midfield

He’s been good but Benta is immense. Sarr will keep developing and allows us to not rush Benta at all which is great. But let’s not pretend like a fully fit bentacur doesn’t elevate us.

We have 2 midweek matches that’s all. No Europe, no cups. I wonder how Ange can keep them from feeling bored.

He's going to have a proper scrap on his hands trying to dislodge Sarr. What a great position to be in.

Oh to have proper depth of quality and hunger in the squad. This is where we need a big club mentality and try and 'stockpile' (to a certain degree) quality and not wonder all the time how we will keep them happy etc. Love Bentancur, fingers crossed he will be back to his best soon.

He must be itching to get into this side.

I can't wait to see him. He will thrive playing this way

He’ll be hard pushed to break up Bissouma and Sarr partnership. These two are quick, strong. aggressive and dynamic. Bentancur is top quality and will be a great option once fit.

He won't need to break them up. He will give us a legitimate option to play when one of those two needs a rest without our overall quality dropping off like it did against Fulham.
