The more I watch him play the more excited I get to see how he can develop here as I think he has absolutely everything in his locker to be world class.
He looks so happy and appreciative to be with us as well. Look at him and KWP in the picture from the "meet the new boys" tweet.

£25m + Onomah is a fucking bargain for RS. One of the hottest young players in the world and we've got him on the cheap.

He's been our player for one day and we have people saying shit like this. Sorry, but it's a bullshit statement.

It really isn’t. GB is a different class of talent. Don’t have to know much about football to see that.

I really don’t understand people like you who react with such passive aggressive BS when someone says something you disagree with. I hope you are not like that in real life.

Yeah he seems to be excited to be at the club, it's great that we add all these players who have excellent characters and are just generally good human beings.

Whenever I see Skippy he just looks generally happy to be in and around the players, he's always wearing an 'average Joe who won a competition for the day' face. Really hope the kid goes far with the club.

Also.......beans?? What the hell Dele??

I get by fine in real life, thanks pal - don't need somebody who doesn't know what passive aggression is worrying about me (this is passive aggression FYI). It's not even that I don't agree with it, it's the fact you think it's normal to be so matter-of-fact about a guy that hasn't even played for us yet, who has had 3 seasons in senior football (at just 19) and won player of the season in the Championship in his first full season - he's impressed Poch/us enough that we've paid £25m for him with a year on his contract. A kid who scored more goals in his first two seasons in senior football than Bale did in his first 6 combined.

It's nonsense. You don't know what levels he will reach. Don't act like it's because you "don't have to know much about football" (that was actual passive aggression FYI), it's because you don't have the foggiest what levels Sess can reach yet, so maybe wait before you pass stupid judgement like "not in the same level of talent as GB".

Ryan Sessegnon's Deadline Day move to Tottenham from Fulham almost fell through

Ryan Sessegnon's Deadline Day move to Tottenham almost fell through because Fulham wanted to use the funds to sign Michael Hector, according to Sky sources.

But the deal almost broke down at the eleventh hour as Fulham were looking to sign Chelsea defender Hector after wrapping up Sessegnon's sale.

Negotiations over the 19-year-old took longer than expected, to the point where Fulham director Tony Khan was willing to allow the player run down the remaining year of his contract and potentially allow him to leave on a free transfer next summer.

The deal to take the winger to north London wasn't signed off until after 3.30pm, and the official announcement was made at 5.45pm, 45 minutes after the deadline.

That left little time to conclude a deal for Hector, who eventually ended up staying at Stamford Bridge

Maybe I'm having a stupid moment, but I don't understand this piece at all.

They wanted funds for Hector by, presumably, selling Sessengon.......but yet Khan was willing to let Sess go for free next year instead as he was in a hurry to get Hector?

Is it just me?

Not sure if it has been posted already, but thought it was an interesting look at him vs us.

Not a scintillating performance by any means but there are still positives there.

He made some excellent runs and movement and showed his ability to 'ghost in'.

One thing to consider, I don't actually know what he was being asked to do though. One minute he's RB, next LW, next central. Poch will be able to hone that and give him more focus.

This is what I took away from it, too.

The clip doesn't show him in the best light, but if all we do is watch cut together videos of plays that come off we won't get the full picture. If I watch Youtube videos of Bale you would never think that he drifted in and out of games doing nothing until spanking one in from 35 yards. That's why I prefer to watch these all-touch or game highlight videos, it shows the good and the bad, both of which are equally as important.

There's no doubt in my mind he will be incredible for us, however long it takes.

Couldn't agree more. These one game reels are much more helpful as you can all aspects, not just the positives.

I watched a few Kieran Tierney highlight reel videos - barely any defensive actions included, which doesn't tell anyone how good he is defensively. So when fans cream themselves over a video that showcases their best skills they aren't taking everything into consideration.

In this video you can see Sessegnon needs to work on the defensive aspect of the game as he was beaten a bit too easily. That'll be something Poch will work on no doubt.
