I know Mourinho seemingly has concerns about him defensively, but I think the sooner he’s made a full time LB the better.

He just doesn’t have enough skill and creativity to be an effective PL winger. Let him take his knocks and learns as a LB in Europa and the cups, he has all the tools to be great there.

I think you have to remember that one of his biggest assets is his ability to arrive in the penalty area late. He scored a ton of goals for Fulham because of this.

Therefore I'd like to certainly see him play deeper and not have to hug the touchline. I believe he could mirror what we are expecting of Doherty on the right.

Doherty isn't a player who hugs the flank either and likes to make lots of underlaps, I think Sessegnon has the technical ability and intelligence to play that role. He's never going to be a player who goes on the outside so you want him tucking in as much as possible. Then you could have Bergwijn hugging the line to create the space inside.

Suddenly he looks a player. Awful first half but very interesting 2nd half. Needs work but intelligent use of the ball and a nice knack of ghosting in at the far post.

he is you know!

This might not be quite what we think.

Maybe it's a loan swap, Sess goes to develop at LB and we get Tagliafico for a year.

Unless Ajax need to sell him?

Suddenly? He was Championship Player of the Season at age 17.

Won a tackle at the edge of the box to set up the sixth goal as well

This is a crazy thought but could he be a striker possibly?

He seems the best around the box.
Considering some on here think (in some cases they are serious) that Moura could do a job at rightback for us, then no, no it isn't.

Normally when people suggest players changing positions it’s completely laughable, however this doesn’t feel so crazy.

I’ve always felt his best asset was his movement off the ball and positioning. A lot of his goals for Fulham verged on poachers goals and timing his arrival into the box.

That’s what made me think about it when you see the goals he scored for Fulham.

I don't agree with that to be honest. I think it's something we should see happening far more often.
