I completely understand where your coming from here as he's definitely not a player that stands out when watching him. He doesn't have electric pace, doesnt have unreal passing or crossing and he's not an outstanding dribbler either. But he is more than adept in all these traits, and at his age he has plenty of time to develop these skills. That's cool brother. Can you name a particular match where he's impressed you? I haven't watched much of Fulham but when i have he's either been massively peripheral, or Just unimpressive. Maybe watching one of his better games will give me some hope.

Having said that, the one skill that he is incredibly gifted in (which is perhaps the one skill that cant be trained) is game intelligence. He doesnt score those tap-in goals through blind luck, but through his innate ability to know where to be at the right time. His decision making when making runs in behind defence's is probably only rivaled by Son in our squad. His choice of pass always seems to be the right call. And it's because of this one skill that I can see why he's so desired.

I don't see it. I don't think we should be signing a player who i think is a very rough diamond, just because he's had some success in the championship.
Bar being athletic, i can't see anything he excels at, and i actually think he's technically poor.
Just because he started young doesn't mean he'll become a world beater. Can anyone suggest a game where he's really impressed them?
Were has he played the most this season. Is he a defender at all nowdays? And if so, can he defend?
For £40m with one year left, i'm not to keen on him. Rather we spend the £40m elsewhere. Not exactly an area in LB/LW we need to strengthen.
For £25m I think it's a no brainer.
Just to make a point...
Andy Robertson and Harry Maguire were part of a dog shit Hull defence that got relegated.
I bet not a single person on this board would turn their noses up at them now.
When one sees how important Trent and Robertson have been in contributing to Liverpool's performances - much like Spurs in our prime with Walker and Rose - we should be going all out to bring in attacking fullbacks of Sess' qualitiesThink he will make an incredible attacking fullback. Really hope we can get him.
