I know its slightly off topic, but was just looking at the Asian Games and China's women's team beat Tajikistan 16-0........with one player scoring 10 of them

No he didn't play that game, but would he be enough to overturn the difference? I'm not sure, also Uzbekistan have won 3 out 3, scoring 9 goals, conceding 0, and play Hong Kong next, and would be in better shape if South Korea make it that far. South Korea lost to Malyasia and struggled to beat Krygyzstan and now face Iran.

I am starting to get concerned that he will have to do national service, but before this tournament began I wasn't worried. However the little I've seen of South Korea in this tournament I am now very worried we will lose Son for 2 years. I hope I'm wrong, I would swap a victory at Old Trafford for him to win this tournament.

I come from Hong Kong. I hope we can win but Uzbekistan is currently the best team in this tournament. I don't really see any possibility that Korea can reach the semi-final (need to beat Uzbekistan and Iran). I hope that I am wrong.

If they're gonna have problems beating Iran and Uzbekistan I'd much rather they went out in the first knock out rounds than lost in the final.

Surely the best player at these games is Son though right? What a huge achievement it would be for him to drag his nation over the finishing line

Na we want Son to have a chance of winning the thing. I hope they stay in for as long as they can to have a fighting chance

Every winger in the world blows hot and cold. Literally every single one.

Most in the £80m bracket Son is supposed to be in according to many on here are able to consistantly control the football when it is passed to them.

This has probably been covered already but where has this by age of 28 he has to enlist come from apart from in English papers?
Everywhere online talking about it says 21 months need to be completed between age of 18-35.

Quick question. How much is Sonny worth if he doesn't win gold at this months games? 2 years away from football will see his value take a fair old hit

Which doesn't change the fact that it's better that they lose the first knock out round rather than the final.

Obviously but wanting him to lose the next game instead of have a chance of winning it so he is back for an extra game or two is a little short sighted.

South Korea won this last time minus Son, I think people are jumping to worst case scenarios after the Malaysia result the other day

Am I right in thinking that they only need to win a medal, i.e. finish third at least to get exemption?
