Wonder, with our current injury predicament, would he play v United on the 14th and miss the first game of the Asia Cup on the 15th? You'd think South Korea could beat Bahrain without him.
Our main injuries are further back and its already agreed when Son will go away. We should be OK as long as Maddison is back soon.

Every now and then Sonny has a game like tonight. Off the mark, poor touch and going to ground way too easily. Strange really

It’s one of the differences between him and Kane.

Obviously Kane still has poor games sometimes, but will still contribute (and often score) even when he’s off it.

He did contribute, he assisted the first goal. But he was largely awful.

Would guess his head is thinking ahead to next week and not getting injured.

He has games like tonight, absolutely rubbish.

Very streaky player

Had a poor game, but none of the starting front 3 were particularly good. He's been for the most part though excellent this season, and I've liked the way he's taken on the captaincy role. He's allowed a bad night.

Poor tonight, but he's gonna be hugely missed next month.

I love Sonny but it baffles me how someone soo good, can try so hard and yet be soooo bad sometimes.

If he was on trial today for a local pub side, he wouldn't have been signed. He couldn't do a thing right.

The two are directly linked arent they?
We have very large squad (there are limitations on squad size, not only by rules, but how many it is reasonable to have), problem isn't just injuries at the moment, rather that list has been long for best part of season leading to little rotation and late subs on physically demanding playing style. On CB we truly lack on depth, elsewhere less so.

He had one good game on the left with Richy central and feel we forgot what the past few seasons have told us - he's a finisher. The best at the club now that Kane has gone.

No excuse for that performance though. That's as weak and clumsy as I've seen from him.

Richarlison super unlucky to get taken off. No one was any good but he was the least poor of the front three. At least was hitting the mark and having shots.
Spot on…Ange got it massively wrong. I couldn’t see how close the offsides were as I was behind goal but at least richy looked like scoring. All son looked like doing was eating Turf!

Son's efficiency during a game does remind me of Lucas.

You could tell in the first 10 mins if Lucas was going to have a good game. Same with Son.

He made 3 possession mistakes in the first 10 minutes and I knew his game was done.
