I don't think there's a requirement for anyone to act their age on here! Let the man/ woman speak, we don't want everyone saying the same thing. Maybe some could be more articulate than others. However there is an ignore function too!
I get that and different opinions are fine but there's a way of putting them across and this person just seems to be constantly trying to be edgy, if not downright rude.
And I don't like using ignore because of the exact same thing, I may not agree with everyone but I still want to see different opinions - I'd just like them to have something other that an attempt at shock value.

I think you can build a reasonable ignore list and still have plenty of different opinions to view. Plus, if you see a bunch of people rail against a certain ignored post, you get that weird satisfaction of clicking the "Show ignored content" link to see just how bonkers the comment is! :)

I’ve been doing that a lot recently with a certain forum member…

Just used the 'see ignored content' button to see what the fuss is about. Fuck me! Use 'ignore', it's worth it.

I agree. I’ve never felt the need to put anyone on ignore, let alone build up an ignore list. If the post is really bad the mods usually deal with it. Otherwise I can “ignore” it by scrolling past it. I find all this ignore list stuff pretty weird to be honest.

Regarding Son, I think it’s possible to both want him to do well with Korea in the tournament but also hope he’s back sooner rather than later. I know that defies logic somewhat but I think it’s the way most of us feel!

Son and his South Korea play their final group stage game tomorrow around UK lunch time against Malaysia.

The winner of the group will play Japan in the first knockout round and 2nd place will most likely play Saudi Arabia. The likely quarterfinal opponents would then be Iran or Australia respectively.

The chances of South Korea going all the way has definitely decreased since the start of the tournament.

Does 3rd place go out, or is it a best 3rd place teams qualify situation?

Yeah I don't know too much but seems to be the later. I got excited in selfishly hoping Sonny would be back sooner than later, but others have made it seem they would still go through, which would be a bummer.

I have now checked, and the best placed 3rd place teams do qualify, and South Korea with 4 points would be one of those.

South Korea vs Saudi Arabia unless they lose to Thailand in the next few hours. Still a tough match.

Wonder if Ange will grant Son, Sarr & Biss time away after they're done with their international commitments.
