When Liverpool struggle at home, their fans stand behind them. They never walk alone. When a talented young player misses a chance for us, we abuse him. You are meant to be a supporter. It makes all the difference on matters of confidence.

Every time I see the ball at his feet in the final third I feel like nothing will happen, very Moura-esque unfortunately. Just hope he can build up some attacking form, still early in the season and only 23

I think there is a better player in there, if he can get the offensive side to his game sorted then he's definitely an asset. Works hard defensively and holds the ball up well, but my god is he frustrating at the moment.

You literally couldn’t hear a word from their fans until they scored in the 89th min. Their whole atmosphere reputation is a complete myth.

A bit harsh IMO, he does however seem to be in a funk in the final third this season. He should be burying his chances like his debut goal against City.

Otherwise though he has been solid for us so far given the game he’s being asked to play.

Just my perspective, if he can find his killer touch then we won’t have anything to worry about.
I think if you go through the starting eleven, the biggest question marks at the start of the season were CB, CM and that right wing spot. Toby and Dier have built a strong partnership, Sissoko and Hojbjerg have been solid in midfield, it's just Bergwijn/Lucas/Bale at that right forward position that I'm still not convinced by.

None of them have proven to be good enough for me and Bergwijn has played the most there. Could definitely be upgraded, I think.

That first chance wasn’t easy. I just think he needed to get his body between ball and defender and he could’ve got the pen. 9 times out of 10 he gets his foot caught when pulling the trigger and it’s a different story.

One of those days. I can’t knock his work rate at all

He doesn't seem happy and right up for it as compared to when he just joined. His mind doesn't seem to be at the top competitive level. Needs a good talk to.

I had the same feeling when be went through as Zokora in 2008...I didn't even flinch.

Does everything right, just can't shoot to save his life at the moment. The goals will come, I hope! :)

He has to take one of those two big chances. The way our team plays, it relies on clinical finishing. A pity because his all round effort behind the ball was good

He's a talented player who is lacking confidence at the moment. Such a shame he didn't score at least one of those big chances. He really needed it.

The difference between us and LFC is they have a top front 3 and we have a top front 2. He can do all of the defensive work he likes, but if he can't finish either of those chances he's not good enough.

He's young, so any abuse is over the top. But we will not come close to the league with him in our best XI in his current state.

He's nowhere near as bad as moura. At least he passes to his own team occasionally. But his end product sadly is also minimal.
