Our best transitional player today, and that’s why he should stay in the team. Son and Kane were missing their third man the past two weeks, and I thought bergwijn’s touches and ideas were brilliant today. He is still lacking in the final third but he opens up so much space and keeps the ball well. Love this performance.

Played very well today, seemed to enjoy having more freedom sa result of the formation change. Yes there’ll be sterner tests but his energy and awareness was put too far better use then it has been and his pass for the Ndombele goal (and involvement in other chances) was our craft.
