Just by replacing Rashford with Begrwijn youre strengthening. Ofcourse they can go and get someone else who would strengthen them but I wouldnt want them to do it on the cheap or an opportunistic signing that saves them a few quid.

It all depends how Ten Hag plays - they do need a fair bit particularly as they have so much deadwood/players who are shite/leaving
Rashford is just out of form but on paper rashford is twice the player berg is. If ten haag can get rashford performing again to his talent I’d have him over berg any day.

Rashford is on the same trajectory as Dele!
What because he’s been poor this season in a dysfunctional and multi managed United team?
I still remember him out playing mbappe in the champions league 2 seasons ago. The kid has real talent. Get him under conte on a free, I’d take him in a heart beat

I personally dont rate and never rated Rashford and do think he is going the way of Dele - lots of parallels but will be interesting to see going forward what happens with him and if Ten Hag sees him as a first team player. Dont think Rashford is a good finisher either or rather consistent finisher.

Yes 2years ago! Same as Dele, done nothing in 2 seasons, thank goodness you're not in charge of recruitment!

I mean berg scores a couple of late goals this season and all of a sudden he’s a world beater? He’s barely scored since he joined!!
Alli hasn’t done anything for 4 seasons it’s a big difference.

11 goals 9 assists in the prem last season. Way better than berg has ever come close to doing. 17 goals 11 assists season before…. I mean come on.
He also scored 6 goals in 6 games in champions league last season. But yeah he’s done nothing for ages

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But a guy who scored 17 goals in the league in 31 games is a bloody good player… plus last season 11 goals 9 assists in league and 6 goals in 6 games in champs league.

Why, who said Bergwijn was a world beater, I just believe Rashford’s career is going south fast!

Maybe it is maybe it isn’t. But he still puts up 10x better stats than berg. Berg couldn’t even score a goal in Europa league in 11 games yet rashford last season scored 6 goals in 6 games yet his career is going to pot?
He’s having an off season, it happens, but he’s available for nothing soon and I’d happily take him.

But how much does he strengthen them? He’s not what they need. They have multiple bergs. Sancho is best in berg position and we would make them massively over pay. They need a quality striker, 2x cms, a CB, a RB minimum. Berg doesn’t solve any of their issues.

not been following them much … is Wan Bissika dropped in quality already ?

Yeah, he’s been absolutely horrific. Almost as big of a flop as maguire. They don’t play him much these days but their other options are poor too. Shaw is good when in form but been poor this season.

Massively. He was good one on one when they first signed him defensively, he has zero going forward and would be awful for us. This season in a poor United side his defence has been pretty bad too.
Bullet dodged for 50m! But then we wasted more on ndombele. Both have similar resale value now.

Good point. I'm open to the idea of Stevie going to ManU for 2 reasons

1) Sounds like he's ETH main target and Levy/Paratici will have the upper-hand in negotiations to secure a health profit on his transfer fee
2) We're likely going to be taking losses on Ndombele and GLC come summer time and need to make up funds elsewhere, so we can strengthen squad.

Like @djhotspur smartly pointed out, they already have a ton of wingers and though Stevie is a good player, they have other areas they need to improve on. So, take their money and give Conte what he needs ( unless he specifically states that Stevie is the one he wants, then scrap everything I wrote about selling him  )

Ridiculous not bringing him on earlier
I know he missed a sitter but bound to have so much pressure when given only 5 minutes

I think Stevie has been disrespected massively by Conte and the club, tbh. He fully deserves a move somewhere where he's valued and I would wish him all the very best wherever he went. To win the game like he did against Leicester and then to not get a sniff ever since is quite frankly ridiculous. Barely 5 mins last week and fuck all this week even though we were desperate for a goal and we had only made two subs? Just obscene
