Yep, bang on during Moura, Aurier and if I remember they dismissed Rabiot to us.
Actually don't believe they ever dismissed Rabiot and were very up to date with our offers to him all January.

We paid £45M for Sanchez, a youngster with a high ceiling...

We're talking about potentially one of the top midfielders in World Football, meaning his stock is likely to rise once Poch has worked his magic.

Paying circa £60M, in that scenario, isn't as far fetched as you might believe.

Time will tell but it's almost certainly a moot point in the case of N'Dombele as I suspect he will go for more than £60 million anyway.

I meant more they said that he wasn't keen on us, his first choice was barca, second choice was Liv and specifically Klopp from what they were saying.

So what can we argue about to get this to 100 pages? This is a pretty boring one where we all agree this would be awesome.

I reckon we get him- two windows without purchases, at least 70 million banked from the CL. A gaping hole in central midfield. The new stadium. Both Poch and Levy at varying times stating it’s time to step up.

Fucker’s ours, whether he likes it or not

It’s more of a question of whether he’ll be in London for the CL trophy open bus

Juve still favourites for me.

Can only hope the guarantee of playing time ahead of Euro 2020, our participation in the CL final and a sweet financial package will swing things our way.

Anyone who thinks we are going to spend 100 million euros on anyone is smoking crack. I will be absolutely gobsmacked if we pay more than £60 million for anyone and very surprised if we go over £50 million for any one player

I would qualify this by saying that if we sell Eriksen for a big fee I will be far less surprised if we spent £50-60 million plus on one player

Going to mention it again.

Juventus manager Allegri is leaving, they are in the hunt for a new manager. Would they be looking to make signings without discussing with the new manager who he wants.

If Ndombele wants to earn a spot in the French national squad for the Euro's, how can a club with no manager sell him the idea that he'll be a mainstay in the first eleven.

Witnessed it loads of times before, when a new manager arrives and doesn't fancy a player for whatever reason. Bale and Zidane round two being an example.

I'm of the view that the stability that Poch brings, the fact that Poch clearly wants, and the fact Juve are managerless and nobody is lined up as of yet, sees us as a better proposition than them at the moment.

That's my thinking, and boy am I sticking to it. ;)

Re: ParisUnited and Rabiot.

I'm not sure if JJ ever dismissed that we made offers, I always thought it was that the player never took us seriously. Could be wrong though.

They are seen as tier 1 info in france for sure. Dreamland if if we sign Ndombele.

Probably helps that he’d constantly be under the eye of France’s captain too.
