works tirelessly?Drops a great display - but he didn’t work hard enough. Works tirelessly - he wasn’t clinical enough. Sometimes you can’t win with people.

just accept it, he has the most talent at the club - yesterday it wasn't there but his work rate was great, add two and two together and we will have a super player on our hands, be patient, it'll be worth it.
20 years ago you would build your team around him. Mecurial talent like Le Tissier etc was enabled by grafters. These days you don't get that, everyone has to be a gut busting athlete.Unfortunately for Ndombele is that Lo Celso came on for 15 minutes and we instantly looked a more settled side. I think Ndombele is probably the most naturally talented player at the club, but that talent will always require hard work, dedication & ultimately good footballing knowledge. It seems with Ndombele that he has quite a few moments where he just completely switches off.
You can get away with that in the French, Italian leagues etc because the pace of the game isn't so frantic. The Premier League is unique for this (just look at the Palace game yesterday), where every team can beat every other on any given day.
Romero was, not Tanguy. If Romero doesn't dive in we won't be caught 3 v 2 at the backWas at fault for there goal , lazy lazy lazy should have gone off at 60
Might be wrong but thought the move started with Villa moving past Moura and Ndombele like they were statues. The goal was a poor effort across a number of players including Romero.Romero was, not Tanguy. If Romero doesn't dive in we won't be caught 3 v 2 at the back
I supposedly hate him but the goal wasn't down to him - I agree with the aboveRomero was, not Tanguy. If Romero doesn't dive in we won't be caught 3 v 2 at the back

no it was better from him in that respect but Hjoberg was outstandingyesterday he did, pressed better than anyone and for the entire game

Agree, although Skipp was a level above Hojberg IMO.no it was better from him in that respect but Hjoberg was outstanding
I know it's a big IF, however if one of his through balls had connected yesterday he would have had an assist. If he continues in games the way he played yesterday then i can see the assists coming from him. Again, big IFs in this statement.you can only play him as a 10 because of his lack of mobility and a number 10 should be scoring 8 a season and getting near double digit assists , he does neither . It’s sad that he’s congratulated for merely putting in some effort . I’m sure we will look to offload him in the summer and he will bounce around the european leagues with every clubs fans thinking ‘what if ‘.
i wouldn't argue to much about thatAgree, although Skipp was a level above Hojberg IMO.

I didn't witness this. Maybe I am wrong but I thought he was standing around loads (at one point being the up front by himself). I am sure that you used to be able to get "Distance Run" stats per game.
Rubbish. He spent most of the first half hanging around near H up top.Nah first half in particular he was pressing a lot. Certainly more than the other midfielders
