There’s no coming back for this guy. I can’t believe some of you are hoping or thinking he can turn it around. No other PL team would touch him with a barge pole, no matter how talented he’s supposed to be. He just doesn’t have the required work rate. Our only hope of getting rid of him is another loan or use him to get another player.

Those saying he’s too good for the Turkish league are also misguided imo. Too good based on what? 1 champions league game against city and having a few skill moves in the locker. He’s just another Tarrabt and he’s totally rinsed us.

I'll say it again. Fitness isn't an issue, that's quite easy to fix with a regime like he's doing now.

His issue is mental and going missing in games, not showing for the ball, spending 5 minutes rubbing his ankle after a tough challenge.

Alli did the same last summer, didn't improve his inability to impose himself.

Ndombele's issue has always been really imposing himself on a game, too often he hides or is poor tactically/mentally.
Maybe conte can break him and remold him into a fighter, def won’t happen but never know. He is literally exactly what we need

No chance - get shot of him. Worst transfer in the clubs history and a total waste of space.

No!
We need someone who gives a shit.
Has an once of dedication to his craft.
Produces more than one moment every 4/5 games.
Works for the team.
Has an element of fight in him.
Gives a shit about himself- without this we're all nothing- he's nothing to me- get him out of the door.
To think he's our record signing and one of the top earners too boot!
That made me feel better at least (and I was really happy when he signed!)

I still think he'll end up going out on loan again and then hopefully, he'll impress enough to secure a full transfer away from Tottenham. A couple PL teams could use his skillset and could afford to carry him with other CM's doing the grafting.

Haha he finishes dead last in the one drill done at speed the same time other people are doing it.

I'm not sure how that's deemed an impressive training regiment that they thought was smart to show the world.

I disagree. He’s not even talented or good at football any more.

I watched him a lot at Lyon when he went back, but he just doesn’t have it any more. Ignoring his fitness and work rate, he just doesn’t even beat the first man any more, he doesn’t put the good quick out of nowhere passes in, he doesn’t really do anything.

he looks shot as a player, like genuinely offers nothing bar the occasion back heel.

I want him to be another team's "problem" and it just so happens that Premier League has a variety of teams that could do with a player with his skillset, while being able to handle his salary and hopefully pay a decent loan fee. You can go on having your contempt for him, more power to you. I don't begrudge him for the way things turned out and I don't think he went out his way to as you put it "rinse us". It just didn't work out for they way we would've hoped. End of the day, I just want the club to be able to recoup some of the money spent they on his transfer and use the funds to move the team on to greater heights. If that's misguided, cool. I'm okay with that.

We all want to recoup money for him.

but no prem team needs his skill set because he doesn’t offer one any more. He was shocking at Lyon, he offers one silky trick a game yet csnnot even beat his first man any more, cannot pass, his control looks poor, he literally looks shot as a player

Whatever way you cut it, we are going to be massively out of pocket. He is easily the most expensive mistake in the club’s history and we’ve made quite a few of them. I can’t see any way in which we recoup anything like the outlay we have spent on him especially once salary is factored in. That said I hope he can push on somewhere else but I by no means think the Turkish league is below him.

If we can't be objective enough to admit that on the basis of talent and ability alone, he's better than the Turkish league and on the basis of some of his performances for us (20/21 season springs to mind) , could have easily landed in the top 10 of most skillful and elegant CMs who's played for us, then we're letting bias cloud reality.

I'm not making excuses for his lack of work ethic or determination but to dismiss his utterly insane natural ability is where people lose me. Two things can be true. In this case, he's a really talented player, who doesn't work hard enough to become the absolute best player he can be.

I would imagine that players like him and Lo Celso won't be in the tour squad - and if that's the case they'll hopefully be working hard with their agents on finding the right move for them and us.
