Mate, buzzing for you that your lad's catching some eyes.
Still a long and hard road for you all to travel yet but both you and he must be incredibly proud of where he's got to so far.
It's testament to hard work, dedication and good support from yourself.
Thanks dude, yeah long way to go!
I’ll sit down and look back once he gets to where he wants to be, then I’ll relax 😂

The bizarre thing when it comes to mentality and so on is that we can sit on our arses and call him lazy, but in order to become the player he was at Lyon he must have worked extremely hard, been extremely dedicated, taken his chances when they were before him and showed enormous mental strength in those key moments. No young footballer that gets pro, certainly not Champions League level pro, has half arsed it.

But what's happened since and his attitude and application since signing for us is in stark contrast to how he must have been in order to become so good that we paid that much money for him.

Sanchez had a ridiculous fee too but he always at least tried
Agreed, Sanchez just didn't have the ability/a lot of his years were in a defensive system that just doesn't play to any of his strengths, the biggest thing was his mentality of always caring, he genuinely wanted it to work, I think he got boo'd and started crying on the sideline, this shouldn't happen but it seemed like he really really cared and wanted to improve but it just never happened with us. I will never fault a player that just ends up didn't have the ability but tries, at the end of the day, that's all you can really ask for, for them to fight for the badge.

Ndombele just looked like he didn't give one F about how he performed or fighting for this team. I have zero indication of how he was in the locker room, but if play was anything to go off of, him walking off when we were down instead of jogging off trying to save time pretty much sums everything up.

Based on my experience so far they don’t tend to go into family side of things in the slightest.

I say that with caution but can only go by the fact there are currently pretty big prem clubs who are interested in my son, scouting him at games, speaking with agent, and also his club.

even his coaches don’t know too much about my sons back story as such, mostly interested in his ability and playing mindset.
Litwrally going through it all on a weekly basis, I mean it’s thorough but any investment normally is, just the decision making process we will go through over the next few months and trying to figure out the best way for him to move up that football ladder and maximise earning potential. But none have shown an interest in the family side, information eother comes from coaches, agents or if already in top leagues news outlets
I get first dibs on an autograph for my son 🤣🤣

As long as Arsenal don't sign him

Agree mate, a good observation. I felt like Sanchez ended up like a rabbit in headlights at times and played with his heart on his sleeve. I bet he read the social media too. I don't think he made as many howlers as Aurier who was a clown at times, but it all got to him.

Agree about N'dombele not giving a shite too. He didn't. People are guessing about depression, but normally football is a good outlet for it before the walls close in at home. There are just some footballers who can't be arsed.

Jermaine Jenas at Forest, Newcastle and Spurs used to run his bollocks off in training and try his best. He always admitted he had to. Just like Gary Neville. Because if they didn't they feared they would be lower league material, they probably would if they couldn't have been arsed.

Ekotto was an interesting case too, he disliked football, didn't know who the opponents were going to be, barely could get motivated for the huddle, but when that whistle went he always performed. Amazing how he could switch on

THIS IS HIS BIG CHANCE TO SEAL A MOVE TO ……………….anybody who will have him.
Would certainly been a good game for him to do well in. There will be a lot of eyes on the match.

Cheers, that was my cue to watch and a good game. Ndombele on the other hand, don't think a player has touched the ball less, just walking around so very easy to mark. One run I've counted when defending. Would sub him off at HT but hopefully they keep him on. So lazy.

He was, unsurprisingly, atrocious. Offered nothing in attack and rarely made it into the final third whilst defensively lazy and a liability.
Gala are quite high energy so I’m stunned their coach played him in a midfield 2; not surprised he hooked him after 60 mins.
Match has been a blinder though, 3-3 with 70 mins gone.

Apparently he had a good match at the weekend so I guess that’s why he got the nod today.

Big chance for him tonight to show everyone how wrong we’ve been about him but it sounds like he’s been true to form.
If he can’t be bothered to put half a shift in in a game like that there’s absolutely no chance we’ll get any takers for him now, which probably won’t worry him too much anyway.
Please get him off the wage bill in January Mr Chairman, yes, it’ll cost us but if we can offer him a reduced payout just to go away any saving can be offset on wages for someone coming in who might actually benefit us at the moment

I watched the game, between fucking about on my phone, and he was barely noticeable.
He just wasn't really involved in anything and I wasn't sure he was even playing for while.
He's just not fit enough to play that level and really doesn't look too bothered.
