So happy we are starting to see best of him, his ability and potential is the thing I most look forward to seeing in the current side. I was always in the keep him camp as his upside was worth the risk, rather than sell for a loss.

It’s like Dembele & Modric had sex and made a child

The problem is he’s still only at like 60% ? I can see how he has his troubles as football generally looks way to easy for him

Anyone want to mabye credit Jose for putting a rocket ? up tangys arse? He’s come back this season the player we all thought he could be.

When Jose lays down the gauntlet to specific players it goes one of two ways, either they up their effort etc and fulfill their potential (ndombele) or by the looks of things they dont improve their attitude and effort and adapt to the teams way of playing and in those cases they’ll likely get sold (Rose, Dele etc)

Also credit to Tangy himself for turning it around.

We're not allowed to compliment Jose's management until Dele is scoring left foot 35 yarders every week. OK?

He's getting there. Go on lad! Bloody lovely footballer to watch and almost certain he'll be classed as best in league in a year or two now. The moments are getting more consistent. ?

Absolute joy to watch. Ran the show, worked hard for 90 mins showing discipline off the ball and real quality on it. The goal was outrageous. Even better that he was able to do all this from alongside Hojbjerg. Fingers crossed he will get more games there.

If 3 at the back is what Jose feels is the answer to playing Tanguy there then I'm all for it. We certainly have the WBs for it.

I love the way he's always looking to play the ball forward. There was one pass in the first half with the outside of his foot. It was phenomenal.

He's such a great technician.

Made so many look foolish for wanting rid. He's been brilliant all season
I dont think that last part is accurate. He has had moments of brilliance and a lot of moments of mediocre football.

Which was more to do with being played in an advanced position. If he is played continually in the CM role with plenty of help to get him on the ball then we will hopefully see much more of what we saw today.

But not to overshadow what was today, an excellent performance from the lad. Long may it continue.

Changes the whole dynamic of the side when you have a footballer who can pass and make things happen in the middle.
