It’s not in their best interest to close the deal with us if they think Madrid, Juve, Man City are serious in signing him. We have no control over how long the deal takes in this instance.

The actual movie you've paid to watch will start, predictably around 20min after the announced start time (i.e. close to transfer deadline day). There's an uncertain wait until the movie actually starts.

Your options are thus:
- plan your journey so you arrive just as the movie starts. [That's a bit like just ignoring news on the interweb and just waiting until something official is announced.]
- go out from the screen and spend the time buying popcorn/nachos/XL fizzy drink, only returning just before the movie actually starts. [That's a bit like only checking into official news outlets like Skysports or the BBC Sports website for more concrete news.]
- get there 10min before trailers start. Buy your popcorn, nachos, sugar-free fizzy beverage and even sneak a Big Mac under your t-shirt into the hall. Then get comfy as the trailers start. Some may involve Adam Sandler movies, some the new Marvel franchise or even the latest Toy Story episode until the movie actually starts. [That is like logging onto SC (or similar) forums regularly to fill the time until the actual movie starts.]

Either way, the truth is that all the chat, conjecture, ITK and opinion is really a "fill-the-gap" method our brains utilise because human nature in today's world of swiping, tapping and insta-everything just can't wait for things to happen anymore.

But the most important part of this, is it's up to you. SC cannot help Tanguy Ndombele hitch a ride to Seven Sisters, nor can it make Levy suck off Aulas, nor can it actually change anything happening. You choose to visit in the hope of learning something about the inevitable. So I suggest you enjoy the ride.

There seems to be a minority of posters who forget that if they want the ITK with no discussion then the ITK discussion thread isn’t the best place to go, and they’d be better off just reading the posted ITK in the ITK forum.

I hope Ndombele looks at us with the best stadium, training facilities, great manager and a good future and comes along. I have no doubt we are doing everything to get him.

If I was to predict I think we will get Lo Celso but Ndombele will go elsewhere with the likes of Real or City nabbing him at the death. I hope otherwise he would be a dream signing.

If one of the criteria that he is looking at is who the current mgr is at the interested buying club , then I think we have the advantage as I think that Poch will still be with us long after Pep has left City.

It’s probably because it’s been a slow TW so far.

Once it’s been confirmed that (at least) one of the big names have signed with us, the wheels will start rolling, the guitars will start playing and the party will start rocking.
