Say what you want about Ally G and I'm a fan of his work but by far his biggest skill is without doubt repackaging the same fucking article 10 times in 2 weeks
Agree with that. But the wage thing is bold, and unlike Ally to speculate like that.

Goes along with the 'lovely' and 'signifant' personal terms mentioned in French press. Better than Juves offer.

Kane's basic is £200k, I'm sure the papers said he can earn up to £15m a year after bonuses which is almost £300k

Yeah I agree, I always thought AG played it safe with news from the club with little room for embellishment so I was surprised. I hope it's true because if players want to knock on the door saying look at the wages of the new guy then it means we can get their deals extended.

If we can seal this one within the next week or so I think it'll transform the mood here. The signs have been there the last 2 years that the club is going up a level, for example:-

- Poch becoming one of the top paid managers in the league
- spending £40m+ on a big CB prospect
- huge club record 6 year deal for Kane
- multiple players on £100k+
- beat Chelsea to Aurier and Llorente
- Signed a player of Lucas Moura quality in a January window

The last two windows seems to have broken everyone, but if we get this one over the line things will pick up big time.

Yeah right, believe it when I see it.
Don't do it to yourself lads.
And also, he looks like a good player/prospect, but there's also no guarantee. It's a shit load of money to pay for prospect.

*Trying too temper my thoughts on it and stay level headed for a variety of reasons!

It's easy. If he signs for us he's a world class prospect and a statement of intent. If he doesn't he's overrated, too expensive, and there are plenty of equally good players for better value in the market.

To add to this, Lucas confirmed he pick a permanent move to Tottenham over a loan to United. It’s not happening as quickly as people would like, but the reputation of the club is clearly building. Let’s hope Tanguy sees the same thing Lucas did!

I hear that but I think that it is a perfectly acceptable position to consider that whilst it would be a blow to miss out on what appears to be a top player, there are several other good options we could look to and perhaps, by bringing them on for a lesser fee would help in funding other key areas that require urgent attention.

If our rebuild takes a couple of years but keeps Poch happy and us competitive, enough so that we’re serious title/ cup contenders in a couple of years, I’ll be very happy

Not surprised about the reported wage as our wages are rising and will be much more in line with other big clubs notwithstanding the batcrap crazy few, it was never about the money it was always about the percentage of turnover.
