probably on the Italian side of transfers, But I doubt very much he has anything to do with what we do In UK or non Italian clubs

Hes been pretty much on the ball with our signings so far and some of the others the likes of Chelsea have pulled off too. Not that I take everything as gospel, pinch of salt and all that. Just an observation that's all.

I find how much you despise Ndombele to be pretty bizarre.

There's just a certain type of poster that lives for impotent rage. I can only imagine the blood pressure levels. Getting this embarrassingly irate about situations you have absolutely no control over can't be good for your mental health.

I found this on the OS a few days ago, about Tanguy:

Tanguy has seen most game time, featuring in 13 of our 16 matches so far including four out of four starts in the Champions League. He scored on his debut against Villa and his passing range in the final third has certainly caught the eye in recent weeks.

Fans will agree with Tanguy's view that he feels 'better and better with every game'. "I’m at a stage where I’m getting used to the play here and trying my best match after match to put into practice the work I’m doing on the training ground," said the French international.

"Little by little, I’ll improve but one thing I can say is that Tottenham haven’t seen the best of me yet. Hopefully that will come in time.

"It’s a big change for me in comparison with France. There is a lot more intensity, it’s a bigger fight out there and I know that’s something I’ve got to adapt to. The game just goes quicker in general, forward and backwards, and there are less breaks in play.

"I feel better and better with every game I play and over the course of the season I hope that I’ll continue to progress and that the Club will see the absolute best of me as quickly as possible."

I think this was just before Poch was sacked and he got that hip injury - he's had one of the more turbulent seasons I can imagine but so many people are willing to turn on him personally just because a few sources who get drip-fed the same info have slagged him off (but they feel empowered to do so because of that clip that's been done to death at Wolves).

I think Inter Milan does not have any cash to buy ndombele. Today the Premier League terminates its agreements for EPL coverage in China. This is because Suning-owned PPTV is in financial trouble. Apparently, Suning is unable to pay EPL the broadcast right fee. Also, Chinese League Team Jiangsu Suning are rumoured to be on strike over unpaid wages.

And Suning owns Inter Milan (68.85% According to the wikipedia)

They feel moreso empowered to spew some extreme vitriol because of a few highly irresponsible and IMO sketchy agenda laden bits of information that instead of taking with mountains of salt like they should, in typical SC fashion, they take it as the bonafide truth. This saga has shown the only ones to listen to on this are Ally Gold and DanKP who have been steadfast since the start.

Romano has been very accurate this summer and he's saying what I want to hear so I have a bias towards wanting to believe him, heres hoping but still can't ignore what our other sources have been saying but it's great to have somebody like romano coming out with this.
The way I see it is, if he stays and puts the Effort in and performs to a good level, then that’s great, if he goes and we get a decent fee, then that’s fine also, but the question no one can answer is what if he stays, and performs like last season, and it’s like Jack Nicholson says in the film, what if this is As good as it gets? that is the dilemma !

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Either we need to get him in a position where we feel like he is one of the first names on the sheet, and that he is one of the best midfielders in the league like we thought we were getting.

Or sell him and sign someone that will, even if that means taking a hit.

Ok you can’t look at a player and say “he’ll be POTS next year” or “he’s done, sell” but the staff must have a good idea on what we’ll be getting. If it’s the latter then we aren’t in a position to have a £60M rated player on £200k p/w on the books not even playing. I’d rather sell him taking a hit on the fee and bring someone on that can actually make some form of a difference to our season in a positive way

If the speculation is true and he wants to fight for his place then I'm all up for that. That's the response i want from him. We all know his negatives from this season but if he can iron them out then we have a player on our hands. He's a young man....I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he cracks on this season. Here's hoping!

My view on Ndombele is solely down to his desire.

- If Romano is right, and he wants to work hard, fantastic. We couldn't wish for a more talented player
- If the ITKs are right and he wants out, sell him and replace him

It's that simple for me

As supporters we need to somehow fire him up. Show him the love!
A transfer seems to be the worst outcome and there is no way Levy will get what he wants so best we give him another chance. Joe Hart, Harry Kane, Moussa, Hugo Lloris, Toby, Lamela and any other senior players need to sit him down and get him on board

Ali Gold:

Tottenham's stance has remained the same through the transfer window, that Ndombele is not for sale and that is why strong interest from Inter Milan has been repeatedly swatted away thus far.

The club believe he will come good as he adjusts to the Premier League, in the same way Son Heung-min did after a tough first campaign following which he asked to leave the club in order to return to Germany.

As the weeks of the window ebb away, if Tottenham struggle to move [other] players on and therefore bring new faces in, then the pressure will grow on cashing in on Ndombele, particularly if Mourinho pushes for it.

Don't think Romano said that TN wants to work hard, he said that if Spurs decide to keep him then he won't kick up and fuss and will get on with it and be professional about it, very different. I'm all for giving players time and ideally he sorts his attitude out and is able to regularly play 90 mins for us at the level we need as he will then be the creative CM that we are lacking but I just can't see it happening unfortunately, I've never seen a new signing show such a lack of effort and be so soft when it comes to injuries and knocks etc.

I get that DL will want his money back I just hope someone will be up for paying it or we can agree some sort of swap including him etc.

Having this all come out now suddenly totally transforms his perceived value. If Inter, or anybody else, thought we wanted him out and/or he wanted out, they'd have the upper hand. With news that he wants to stay for another season and we're not keen to sell, they know they'll have to pay more if they really want him.

thays how I was reading it also

We won't come out and say we don't want him, someone please take him! Will just weaken our hand.
If we want to keep him, it's showing he is valued, if someone comes in for him we can at least say he has quality and we want to keep him to bump the price up.

Thanks for the link, once again reiterating he's not for sale, once again reiterating he was a transfer which was looked at for the long term. The last bit worries me, let's hope we get some suitors for the likes of Aurier.
