I love Lo Celso but I think it's clear that Lo Celso needs to drop back a bit and Ndombele play further forward if we're sticking to the 4231 formation. Ndombele can make us tick in attack, I always expect every pass he makes to find a team mate. He just cuts teams open when he gets into the final third like nobody else does.

Some lovely touches when he came on
It's been lost in the madness, but he was unreal when he came on.

I think we need to appreciate his work off the ball in the last couple of games too. He's really trying make runs, and generally show for the ball in little pockets of space. When other players pick up on this in the game it'll really make all the difference. I can't wait to see him in a midfield with Hojbjerg and Lo Celso, I honestly believe that could be special.

Very impressed that he’s putting in consistently good performances off the back of being essentially exiled for a while.

Having a midfielder swivel their hips like Dembele, while also being able to play first-time passes around the corner, and often in a forward direction - something some of our players seem allergic to - is a joy to witness.

He's the player Man City should have put out all the stops to get as the ideal Toure replacement. Fortunately he's ours

He controlled the game when he came on. Wasn’t just about getting it and transitioning, but controlling possession too. Very promising.

I think we just really now need to start playing our first choice midfield of GLC, PEH and ndombele.

Really need to now stop saying he will be good etc... We need good now... Not just later.

The sooner we adopt it, the better it will be.

I can’t wait to see Ndombele and Lo Celso starting together week in week out. Will be a joy to watch and that’s what it’s all about at the end of the day

He's got really clever positioning in the attacking third. He'll lull the opposition into a false sense of security by playing 2-3 passes right back to the original passer, then on the fourth flick it behind the defender and turn and run into space. Going to be fun to see him link up with Bale.

Great cameo again. I feel the words and advice from Mourinho have really sunk in and he is benefiting from it. Thought he looked aggressive, fit, and determined today which is really what was lacking from his previous performances.

When someone is as naturally talented as this lad is, if we can get the right mentality then we have a world class player.

He should start in the Premier League, particularly against teams who sit deep.

His ability to play forward and break the lines with his passing is so key.

He’s looked our best player on the pitch every time he’s played this season.

A CM 3 with Hojbjerg, Lo Celso & Ndombele is needed.
A massive improvement today with Hojbjerg. I know he’s had no preseason etc but he struggled in the first few matches. Although his turns remind me of Parker, he was a massive improvement today.
