I still believe. Don't know why, but I do. It's the hope that kills you.

He could do with watching that Jack Wilshire interview, and seeing what it feels like for someone at the other end of the tunnel, who knows they wasted the best thing they ever had.

Tanguy Ndombele Cycle:
- Starts season unfit, poor mentality, out of manager's plans
- We can't sell him <--- [You are currently here]
- Impresses in substitute appearances for our midfield who is struggling to break through press and progress the ball as he builds up fitness and confidence
- Fit enough to start and play 60 minutes for a good stretch of matches, fills massive gap in Spurs squad and electrifies the pitch weekly
- Manager is sacked, new manager finds Tanguy's mentality lacking and benches him
- Tanguy validates manager's lack of belief by being moody in training because he was dropped
- Offseason begins, Tanguy hibernates for 3 months and returns to training unfit

Repeat

I for one look forward to step 4

With Nuno playing 3 in the middle, I cannot help but think we now have the perfect set-up to accommodate him (if he is willing to put the effort in).

He's let me down a little bit but I was really hoping that we'd sign a Bissouma type player and play him and Hojbjerg behind a free Ndombele this season. I still think he's quality but the guy continually lets us and himself down big time. He may well get back involved this season and do well but it's so frustrating that he keeps needing a kick up the arse to do so.

Just met him in person. I can tell you, man is fit. If he is overweight then so is Dele by comparison. Said he's fit to play. (What else would he say I suppose).

Won't say any more as that is personal opinion.

If it is to believed that he's not up to full fitness because he doesn't seem bothered, these big contracts that they get should have a punishment clause in them for lack of effort.

He has had the odd youtube moment in a Spurs shirt. That's the extent of it. The bold bit is delusional. He doesn't fill a massive gap for the 11 on the field, he creates one. The talent is there but if he won't apply it, he's a dud.

I'm fit, in pretty good shape and have played football to a decent level but I couldn't hack a prem game as the fitness is on another level.
