He's often overweight and usually useless. He earns a kings ransom to disrespect the club with his shocking attitude whilst most fans in here have to sweat to cough up a few quid to even watch the games on TV. Defending him is absurd and laughable in my opinion. Confused why people defend him against fat comments - do you think he's sitting on his laptop reading this forum with a bowl of ice cream crying his eyes out? Part of that might be correct..

A. He's not fat
B. Due to (A), the jokes are tedious and unfunny, therefore they aren't jokes
C. His attitude with the club has been shit and most of us "defending" him actually still want him gone
D. I'm sure your body looks like Michelangelo's David

I like that the reason there’s optimism is that he hasn’t been shipped to the u21s within the first week of pre season 🤣

I've backed N'Dombeles' technical ability since day on
e, the guy has all the technical attributes to be one of the best midfielders in the world, and I still stand by that.
There’s yer trouble. His technical ability resembles a football freestyler more than anything useful on a pitch. His passing is awful, always direct to feet at high pace which gives him good completion stats but puts huge pressure on teammates, he’s not good at weighting a pass into space. Frankly, he doesn’t have any attributes of a good player, let alone one of the best in the world.

I don't like Ndombele.

But, if Ange thinks he can get a tune out of him - go for it. I imagine everyone will know where they stand on this by the end of the Asia tour.

One thing that could play in Ndombele's favor - Ange won't expect him to go 90 minutes. Maybe he sees Ndombele as a player who can give maximum effort for 20-30 minutes, or in a best case scenario 60+ minutes.

If Ndombele is here in September - he has my full support.

Whilst no one can question his attitude and fitness (or apparent lack of) surely no one question his talent and technical ability. He has this in the bucket load

Not always direct to feet at pace though is it? Yes sometimes, but other times it's into space on ahead of the player to collect.

‘Kinell, OK, not every time, then. Just like Winksy doesn’t play backwards or sideways every time. And when Ndombs passes into space , it’s not always badly weighted, but surely “one of the best midfielders in the world “ needs to be better than that?

Tanguy reputation was built on one outstanding season when he played in champ lge for Lyon. Best player on the pitch Vs City and Barca in all 4 games. Voted into the champ lge team of that season by uef@.
since then, not a lot. Serie A winners medal for coming on for last 10-20 mins . Got about as much right to that medal as Kalvin Philips has for his 3.
book value is about 11m just take it and shift the wages.

But no one said he is one of the best in the world, but technically he could

I rate dembele as one of the best midfielders in the world, Ndombele has some similar traits, quick feet, can seem to always come out with the ball in a crowded space. But fitness and the final ball needs worked on.

I personally think there is a very talented player there, but unless he gives effort, he won't get near the team. Which is a huge disappointment and waste of talent that he has.

The "fat" jokes are really getting boring and tedious now..

Saw one poster refer to him and Lo Celso and "N'Dombelly" and "LolCeso" in the same sentence.. Grown. Ass. Men.

I've backed N'Dombeles' technical ability since day one, the guy has all the technical attributes to be one of the best midfielders in the world, and I still stand by that. We all know his negative attributes aswell, which are mostly effort and application. If Ange thinks there's a chance of getting a tune out of him it can only benefit us as he's been mostly forgotten and written off, so to all of a sudden get a £60m midfielder back in the fold would be huge. Similar to Lo Celso too, if we somehow got them both to the level we originally thought we were buying then it's potentially massive.

My heart says it could work, but my head say's I just don't think Tanguy cares enough, at any club for that matter to take him to the level and expectation required.
What's funnier is how many still go with N'Dombele, when it is in fact Ndombele.

We fans have some real "Stockholm syndrome" thing for Ndombele. He has been disrespecting the club, the teammates by coming back overweight every single pree season thus far, Throwing things around him like a baby during open training when he gets a small tackle, clearly does not give a dam about the club and worst of all the morecambe game and you guys still want to give him a 74th opportunity to "prove" something.

And on the other hand we have Harry that has been in my eyes the perfect representation how to behave as a tottenham lad, even during the tough times he stuck his head in the ground and did the most important as a football player (play football) and god dam well.

So sick of the supporters that still back tanguy, that is a true looser mentality im my opinion.
Something tells me you don't like Tanguy..

It will be very interesting if Ange gets a tune out of Ndombele and at the end of the season we offer him another contract after him playing quite a bit of this contract elsewhere. If he does get an offer he will have played well for us which is a bonus but it will be interesting non the less.

I don’t hold out a lot of hope for Tanguy and if it were up to me I’d move him on. But oh boy, if Ange can actually get a tune out of him, the absolute white-hot rage that’s going to inspire from some of our cringiest terminally-online fans is going to be fun to behold.
