Refreshing to see some reality hitting home.

I see Walker could be getting 3 trophies this season, after doubling his wages. I see Spurs fans could be paying 50% more next season and seeing no trophies again. Walker could easily be seeing this season next season. That is the bottom line.

For phoning it in as not being fit, let's reference VVD at Southampton this season and remember all those players who became injured until the transfer window closed. Let's call it "Going Through the Motions". Only Berahino ever lost out doing that.

We won't sell to Chelsea - guaranteed. There's more chance of John Terry being an opening guest at the new WHL.

Toby may be "demanding" 150k a week but he'd take 100k. If we're not offering that, it is our loss.

The big danger here is not Kane, Alli nor Son. It's Eriksen.

There is no doubting the man's quality. But I think it has been clear for a while now, with the contract shenanigans and lazy efforts after injury, that dear Toby is letting his reputation as the league's best centre back get the better of him. I think Poch is right to send a message to him that we are about the team, the project. Not egomaniacs. Walker pulled it and he was out. Did our form really suffer? No, not really, especially when you consider we've essentially played all of our matches away from home this year.

I think Poch's message is clear. Shape up or get out. Project and club before prima donna bullshit. He wants to play in the world cup. Hell, he wants a move, time to knuckle down or otherwise get used to being frozen out. Fully behind Poch on this one.

We have missed walker very very much this season..

Did we have some ITKs saying he verbally agreed a deal but then asked for more because of what VVD was getting?

Hearing so many different things but at the end of the day I trust Poch and think he’s handling this situation very well.

If you want out then you don’t deserve a place ahead of somebody who is desperate to be in.

If he’s committed to the cause then he’d be in the team but the ‘team’ is far more important than any one player. I still hope he signs as I love the Toby/Jan partnership at the back but we have a good young replacement ready to slot in if he goes

I think the Club and Levy’s model will always be if a player gets to 27-30 and he thinks he can get top dollar and get a younger replacement of equal calibre he will take the money. Obviously won’t be every player, if you lose 1 a season like this can you maintain impetus, remains to be seen.

Just not true. Toby has had a very good contract on the table since the Summer, so it's not the case that the club were looking to cash in at all. Levy learned a very early lesson with Campbell though, and will never allow the club to be in such a weak position contract wise again.

What I really meant was once a player gets to 27/28 apart from Kane and Eriksen, I think they are seen as replaceable. As in the club won’t be held to ransom. Where as at start of season selling toby seemed unthinkable, with Sanchez success and Toby injured its now would kind of make sense or at least not be the disaster once perceived. Ferguson sold a lot of great players, it’s just about knowing when to sell them. And making sure you replace with comparable quality.

Clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

Why shouldn’t he do it? He’s still part of the team and imo hasn’t done anything wrong.

Is it boring Sissoko or moura doing similar things?

Because for 3 years he barely tweets. Then suddenly since Xmas he tweets every 5 mins how much he loves the club.

Point me where he’s saying how much he loves the club please because all i see is him promoting each match and returning to training exactly like he does for the National team.

In fact im 100% sure it’s his management,

lol it's obvious that Toby or Toby's team are tweeting pro Spurs stuff for the sake of PR to make him look like the good guy, pretty harmless though in all honesty, not sure why you'd find it boring, just don't subscribe to it if that's the case.
