No one can force a player to move unless he wants to ! The two clubs can have 1000 agreements ! It's all down to a player
We kinda nicked 2 of their managers, Dean Richards and their song.I had no idea Saints hated Spurs to this level, some of the s*** I have seen them spouting is just embarrassing.
This is all beginning to feel a little bit too Spursy for my liking...
According to the Southampton fans I have been reading if both clubs match offers he will join them as they think Southampton are the better club and will finish above Spurs next year, apparently last year it was just pure luck we finished above them.I think we all knew this anyway.....

If AM did agree to pay Southampton compensation for Alderweireld signing for us then I'm sure they'd pass those costs right on to THFC by increasing the asking price. Which might make the total cost of the deal too rich for our blood. This snippet probably summarizes it the best:
Even if Southampton can prove selling Alderweireld to Spurs would breach terms of last season's loan agreement, the Belgian will still have the final say in where he ends up.
Saints head of football development Les Reed is planning to fly to Madrid this week to resolve the situation.
If Alderweireld insists he wants a switch to Spurs, the south coast club could use the clause as leverage to receive a lucrative compensation package from Atletico.
