This is the actual Jose quote. Sounds much more like 2 weeks than 4.

"Toby has a muscular injury but not as big as we initially thought. He will have his time to be out but not like a month, which was immediately what we thought. I'd say between two and four weeks."

Jose said it was very bad on first viewing, he also said that Son did his Hamstring only to rock up a week later

I'm sending a pattern here :shifty:

I think the 'inconclusive' comment is aimed more towards our opponents in the next few weeks. As in it's 'inconclusive' to you, but we know what's going on. Could be 2 weeks, could be 4, but we aren't telling you exactly what he's done, you won't know whether or not he will be fit for our game against you until BAM! 87th minute header from a wide Bale free kick. 1-0 Spurs, thankyou very much.

Or something. I dunno.

However long it is, I was worried we wouldn’t see him this side of Xmas so it’s relatively good news.

Very good news, pity about the tough schedule though. Had this happened before the international break, he would hardly miss any games.

I want him back for the Gooners game the most, really want us to thump them although of course I'd take any win!

That's the one I'd want him for out of all the games anyway. I think we can hopefully manage with Rodon and Dier for the next 3 games.
Rodon or Sanchez? I’m honestly not sure. I like both. Sanchez gets a ton of shit, but he hasnt been that bad this year. He has really high potential and we know how good he’s been here. He’s only 24 so he has time on his side. He is worth persevering with.

He hasn't always been bad, he has played well at times. However, I don't think he has improved much in the last 4 years and even under Mourinho hasn't looked that comfortable. Whereas Dier and Alderweireld are showing signs of improvement and good form, Tanganga has great potential and Aurier has had some great games (still work to do), Sanchez has been a disappointment.

It's not easy to get into a rhythm when you are in and out the side, but Toby was out for a number of games and he has come back strong.
I never feel we are completely secure at the back when Sanchez is playing and although he does have pace, he gets out-muscled by strikers too easily, makes avoidable mistakes and is susceptible to losing the striker, when the ball is played through and he doesn't read it well or follow the player quickly enough. These were aspects of his game when he joined us and they are still there years later and he hasn't improved significantly enough to be at the level we need to be i.e. challenging for titles and big trophies.

If there was a chance of selling him in January or using him in a part exchange deal for Milenkovic or Skriniar, I would do that. Preferably a defender that is commanding and has some pace.

Alderweireld will be a big loss for us and I never subscribed to the fact he was way past his best, need to be sold next summer etc, that I have been reading online. He may have lost a yard of pace, but at 31 years old, he has a few years left at the top. If Thiago Silva can still play at 36 years old, then why not.

Rodon, see what he's got. Sanchez hasn't been good this season at all.

Sounds like one of those injuries that if we desperately needed him he could play in a week. Sometimes they dose players up with pain killing injections and send them out there.
