So me and a mate won a charity auction (Alzheimer's Society) for 2 tickets to any spurs game next season. We watch the match from the players lounge with all the VIP trimmings and the best bit is we get 2 passes into the players lounge after the game and a personal intro to Dawson.

Naturally we cannot effing wait!!!!

But I wondered if any of you have ever been in the players lounge after a match and what was your experience like??

Are the players happy to mingle with you? Take photos and sign shirts etc? Or are they just in a rush to get home??

Dress well, don't look out of place. Walk up to them like gentleman and offer a firm handshake. Try to work the room, and inform people that you are here due to your support for charity (street cred baby!) btw...see if the charity has those collar pins for sale and get one for your shirt/jacket.

Come prepared with a good pen and marker, if u can get access to an instant camera, even better.

Enjoy your time there... Don't drink and eat as if u are at a buffet. (u lucky lucky sod)

I was given two tickets to one of the VIP areas, 3 course meal surrounded by past greats, then seats near the directors box. I was wearing a suit and tie, as was my father and we were overdressed.

Just look smart, no trainers obv.

It was 1995 &1996 that I got players lounge passes as a teenager. Biggest disappointment is that Jurgen went straight off but other than that and Anderton's mates being offish it was great.

The legends are always a pleasure to speak to in the other suites for games too if you get that chance

Just thought I would give everyone a few highlights from Yesterday. Me and my mate did our players lounge experience for the game vs united and i am still buzzing from it now.

The tickets we had were as guests of Michael Dawson so after the game we were in the lounge waiting for him. the lounge is not what i had expected. It was more just a glorified canteen with a creche in there for players kids.

As expected Dawson was a true gent. He came over to us had a chat about the game, said we should of won and that he was glad after last week that we put in a good performance. Said all the players worked really hard in the week but it was difficult due to all the negative press etc etc. He signed all 3 of my kids shirts and took pics with us.

In the lounge there are a few notices saying that we are to respect the players privacy and not ask for photos and autographs. We asked Dawson if other players would mind and he just basically rounded them all up for us to get pics with and sign our shirts.

we were lucky enough to meet Dawson, Vertonghen, Dembele, Holtby, Friedel, lloris, Walker and the icing on the cake for me was meeting Sandro.....

Sandro was hilarious, his brother was there at the game sat right in front of us.....he is a complete look a like so as sandro was leaving the ground he swapped jackets and hats with his brother and told him to exit first and start signing some autographs for the fans outside.......he then walked out and revealed himself saying "i am the real Sandro".......i almost wet myself with laughter :)

What about the wags?

There were 3 wags in the lounge

walkers - tall and fit - was chatting about her new range rover to some of his mates
Vertonghens - Dark haired and looked very young
Dembele - Dark haired and seriously fit - my favourite of the 3 that were in there
