Bloody hell what kind of bed is that? Did we sign him from some kind of young offenders institution?

Haha - I think that would be his childhood bedroom. I doubt he still lives like that, or if he does, he gives a looooooot of money to charity!

Both of my lads have had & worn Brazil, Spain, Argentina & Australia kits. My youngest had a Barcelona kit yet they're both English and support Spurs. In my football team I get kids turning up in RM shirts, Argentina shirts, Barca, had one in a Bayern Munich kit yet none of them actually support those teams. They're just kids and they think having shirts from some of these teams is marvellous. As the poster said about Bale having a Barcelona one as well - it wouldn't surprise me.

I was always under the impression that Sol C***bell used to stand on the terraces at WHL as a kid. I may have dreamt that though.

90's supporter checking in.

1993 to be exact, aged 6. And to be precise, I made my decision immediately AFTER we just lost to Arsenal in the FA Cup semi at Wembley.

You kid's moaning about this recent transfer window don't know you're fucking born.

Sedgely went to the same primary school I did in Enfield Lock albeit 20 years earlier. Mainly Spurs when I was there... Think I just followed the crowd (baaa)
Sedgley was on our books as a youth player but was released. I remember when we signed him there was talk about him being a fan. He was actually on the bench for Coventry in the 87 cup final as a young rookie!!!!

We're Robbie Keane's boyhood club don't you know.

No we are the only club who hes played for that wasnt his boyhood club.

Good player for us, but i have never seen such a downbeat interview of a player when he signed for a new club, as keane did the day he signed.

Seems like we (collectively, as i know of none myself) know of a lot of ex-players or those at the end of their careers that supported spurs as a boy. No current players out there who we would like to play for us that have 'spurs blood' running through their veins?

I believe that the attention on Bale in the last couple of years had begun to bring us to the fore again with some when deciding who to support. Some have suggested that they followed a player rather than a team. I guess this may mean that Bale leaving will result in a drain on our support from some places. Fingers crossed that Lamela or Eriksen live up to their promise and help to foster a new generation of supporters.

Yes he was definitely a Spurs fan! He was from Edmonton (from memory) - I remember seeing him after a boxing day game v Forest near bounds green (at traffic lights) following the year we won the 1991 FA Cup (thanks to his own goal) and my cousin and me rolled down the car window and showed him a picture of the FA Cup and shouted thanks for the FA Cup Des! He simply told us to 'F@ck off' (we were 10 years old) and he sped off in his car!!!
