What I've been saying for weeks. "It's Pochettino's opinion that matters, not the one of you". Well, Pochettino agrees with me.

I find it strange that he would come out and say that.the kid has been ob the fringes of the first team squad for a season.even if we bought a right back in now he wont have long to work with him so how can he be more ready.

Training isnt the same thing.might feeel hes too raw or naive but he can only get the experience he needs by playing.all i was trying to say is its no more a risk than bringing in a new player who has no prem experience either.

I guess if I were the manager I'd want a player to show me the same level of performance, maturity and tenacity in training as he would in a match. So to say training is different to matches, yes it is but its quite a strong indication of what to expect.

Wouldn't read too much into it. Might be an element of truth but I think it's just Poch gently saying to Levy - we really need to crack on with these signings now.
