I like what he has to say, and it’s why i’m Really not fussed about this whole signing players business.
Like he mentions many tines, There is a project in play here, this year was all about the stadium and only the stadium. That helps build the ‘club’ for the future and hopefully sustained success.
Next year will no doubt see more on the field developments and hopefully we’ll get that long awaited trophy.

Full trust in what’s going on from the top down!

You get to see how he is thinking which is good without the newspapers spin on what he says
But they still want a headline so they will still twist what is says.
Good to hear him state the facts though.

I'm as aghast as most that we haven't strengthened but whatever Levy is saying to him is clearly working.

Whether that's hang on until we are in the new stadium and revenue is guaranteed. Or we have X to spend now or x + y in the summer and it's up to you whether we spend now. Or, indeed, some other long term plans, revenue streams, sponsorship etc.

Or, indeed, tying in with X + y point above, what he sees in the academy makes him think that it really isn't worth buying anybody who is not absolutely top draw

Fucking love that man. Can't believe we've been so lucky to land him and he appears to be fiercely loyal. Baring any major fuck ups I can see him being with us for the next 10 years. :joyful:

This is the Poch we’ve been wanting to see in pressers for a while. No riddles, no moody snappy answers, clear, precise, positive and honest.

Good press conference

Anyone find it difficult to ever hear the questions? I find it staggering they dont have microphones

Does he really think we’ve only had one bad result though? We’ve only won 4 of our last 18 games and have a terrible away record since January!

Result is different to performances though. He says enough to suggest he’s not happy with how we’ve performed.

It was a good interview and he certainly talked the talk but it's time him and the team started walking the walk, he mentioned the press but that hasn't been carried out for a long time, so there are still outstanding issues that all of them need to address to get back on track.

Agree nothing worse than spouting off to the papers about quality, leadership, passion etc then going out and losing the game

All very well saying he needs to walk the walk - what if the team are on crutches right now like they were for much of this year with multiple injuries? Or suffering from some other sickness?

Everyone knows there's a malaise behind the scenes - and what, he's supposed to magically wave his wand?

He knows team selections are down to him, but maybe he has good reason - giving players minutes, resting others. whatever. Just let him manage, and wait for january to try and sort out the problems.

This #PochOut vibe is a nonsense.

The only thing I take issue with is that he's constantly backpedalling and having to clarify something he said in the previous presser.

"Yeah, it's true that I said that there are different agendas and circumstances behind the scenes, but you are so clever and you twist my words, what I actually meant was that..."

This is going on every week. I wish he'd go back to just saying nothing of interest.

I liked his press conference, but am concerned that he thinks the problem only started in the summer window. The problem started last January, and coincided with him playing Winks (who is a good player but not a DCM) at the base of a diamond alongside Sissoko (who is also a good player but not a DCM). He needs to acknowledged that since the turn of the year we have been conceding way too many chances to opponents. It is nice to see that he has identified we have stopped pressing and need to revert back to that though.

Gonna be tricky to get players to do that though if they arent invested in his plans anymore. But it will soon weed out those who arent.
