So Spursy that when we do sign 3 top class players, each of them get injured straight away...

Plus Foyth was expected to be our rb this year and he also got injured pre season.

So much wrong with us at the moment but these injuries really don't help Poch with his rebuild.

This. Just don't see how getting rid will help if a new manager will have the same insoluble problems. Players in last year of contract, others wanting out, others on the wane. Really starting to worry about losing Harry now as well. He is on record as saying he will be happy here as long as we're progressing.
I'm deliberately keeping out of the myriad of conversations banging around about this atm. But if the coaching staff have lost their will/motivation/fight as well, then... well.

I'll accept whatever the solution is. But I don't think there's much more that can be done with the current bunch. Hopefully Celso and Sessegnon can bring the freshness we need, and bring the fun back.

I love that we're really fit n'all, but those intense double training sessions, on top the bonkers schedule of English football, must take their toll.

We can’t get rid of him because it’s not his fault that the players who don’t want to be there have lost focus. But please please Poch stop with the diamond. It’s just not working especially when we only press for 20mins and don’t have a decent right back. It’s just not working old buddy old friend old pal!

It will take a pretty hard sell to convince the fans that nothing is broken.

Something is just not right.

Nothing is broken. There is nothing to fix. This squad has just had its day. The fight has gone.

This is the full consequence of not signing players in two transfer windows, and evolving the squad as you go.
I've tried not to think this way and to pass it off as a blip. However the evidence is there. Pochettino isn't helping himself by persisting with tactics that just aren't clicking. It was working in the first half yesterday as we created a lot of chances, but the second half showing proves it is a limited system and opposition have sussed it. There are aot of games between now and January, and we all know the premium that window fetches. So I can't see any vast changes then.

Pochettino needs a new game.plan. however, will it make a difference with the current fit playing squad?

On a separate note, I think his gruelling preseason doesn't help. I didnt think we looked all that mobile or fit. Its the same each season under him. It takes a while before we get going. Needs a little more balance with all the games and relatively small squad.

Maybe it is a fair system, but he doesn't have the right personnel for it? It feels like he's just trying to get the likes of Son, Sissoko and Winks all in the same team. For me, as much as he's improved, Sissoko is not a starter anymore.

I'm calling out for a 433. Dier as the anchor/destroyer, Winks and Ndombele as the mezzala's. Kane obvs as the point man, with Son and Dele as the trequartista/wingers. Kane can even drop into an engache position from that.

Any one of Lo Celso/Eriksen/Lamela/Sissoko can play in any of those positions, so plenty of depth for rotation. Lucas for me is a forward, plain and simple, and should be Kane's backup. Naturally Son is a terrific CF as well.

It makes Dier the key man, and ideally we should be recruiting that position as best we can. The likes of Idrissa Geuye would have been ideal.

Of course full backs need no explanation. Sessegnon will be the future for LB, but we need RB sorting as the other priority.

Anyway, that's my solution. I'm sure if I tweet the coaches and players that they'll pay attention to me :)

Stop being sensible.
