The same happened on Saturday v Leicester and we lost, so quite clearly they haven't cottoned on yet that you need to score more than 1.

Let's not get carried away here. As a team we've had a clear killer touch when you consider all of the games we've won with late winners or even games we've won where we weren't the best team on the day.

Sure, against Leicester on Saturday we should have done better, but that was a rotated team and we would've drawn if Vorm hadn't dropped his clanger.

Last night, whilst we drew the game, the 88th minute equaliser was arguably no different to being another late winner as we knew it would seal the tie.

There's no doubt we should be taking chances more but I dont we should start suggesting that there's a chronic issue developing.

Classifying Eriksen bailing us out time and again as a killer touch. I suppose.

Well it's a team effort. Just because Eriksen is scoring the goals doesn't mean he's "bailing us out". You could say the same about ANY player in the league that is scoring game winners for his team.

I'm not suggesting for ONE second that we shouldn't be more ruthless, obviously we do need to, I'm simply saying let's not go to the other end of the spectrum and start suggesting that we only ever manage 1 goal a game and don't close games out when we clearly have this season.

It happens ALOT though, right at the end, doesn't it? Is it like 13 or more points that Eriksen has 'won' us in the dying minutes of games this season?

IMO he is to Poch what Bale was to AVB. Take those players out of the equation, and my goodness a different picture, eh?

Not sure why he is so deadly right at the end. That's a bit weird.

Yeah I'm certainly inclined to agree but let's not forget that Chadli and Kane have also scored a lot of goals as well.

It's always easy to single out individuals and say that without them we'd be nothing but we could say same about Sanchez at Arsenal, Costa at Chelsea and Aguero at City. All teams have their star players. Eriksen is most definitely ours.

I'm worried that if he keeps it up and we don't get CL that we'll lose him to F'ing Real Madrid! ha!

Cause while defences become tired, he remains focused. He's a concentration machine!!
good point. calm head. That makes perfect sense.

Reminds me of a twist on the old adage "If you are able to remain calm when all around you are panicking, you probably don't understand the gravity of the situation you are in" ;)

It's a sign of a great team to be changing games around in the final minutes - that is the time when teams are tired and most vulnerable. Our final minute goals are usually created with great passing and movement.

Actually, I dont think he even played well despite his great goals. Kept giving the ball away.

Yes, we'd be playing with 10 men and our (arguably) best player missing. Of course it would be different. Take Costa from Chelsea? Same thing.

It's more to do with attitude. Taking things easy when we're ahead and then panic when the opposition fights back.
