Have we ever had a player on the pitch with a number as high as 52?

I thought Skipp played very well. He was good in possession and importantly looked to play forward into congested areas for attacking players - something the likes of Sissoko wouldn’t have the technique to successfully manage. Had they not parked the bus as they did the likes of Lamela and Dele might have been able to find more space in the pockets. That being said - Skipp wouldn’t have had as much time to pick the pass as their press would have been higher.

I think it is interesting that no attacking midfielders or strikers have managed to regularly get themselves in the match day squad under Pochettino.

Yes but Kane and Ali have done very well under Poch. I think our academy is very good at producing midfielders.

Think the most important thing is that it will really boost all of our academy players. Seeing one of their own, a few days again playing and training with the reserve/youth side, then the next moment in the starting 11 of a league match.

Just makes the dream possible.

Not sure about kids these days.... but that will make me want it even more.
