Mauricio Pochettino says it is one of his dreams to return to Paris Saint-Germain as manager in the future.

The Argentine has raised his profile as a boss by leading Tottenham's strongest title challenge in a generation, althoughMonday's draw with West Brom leaves them with a seven-point deficit on Leicester going into the final three games of the season.

Pochettino has three years remaining on his contract and said last month he was in no rush to negotiate an extension, and in an interview with French radio he would not rule out returning to the club he captained during a two-year spell in Paris as a player.
"I've always said that I would be pleased to join a great club like PSG," Pochettino told French radio station RMC. "Come to Paris? I hope so. It is true that it would please me. It's part of my dreams. I try to watch all their matches, especially in the Champions League.

"We are looking for a striker this summer, that's clear," he said. "Michy's a young player who has a lot of talent. He is on the list of many clubs.

"We have quite a few people who have given us information about him. He has good potential. We'll see. We have other players in our sights too."

"The [French] championship is not very attractive because PSG is far from the other teams but I look a lot because it is a major source of players. There is talent so I have to follow Ligue 1."

Among that talent is Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, and Pochettino confirmed the 22-year-old is on a list of potential signings as he targets a new striker this summer.

So then, is this clickbait? Or has Poch genuinely said this and not been taken out of context?

Seems a very strange time to be saying something like this and it is rather worrying.

Oh well. At least he doesn't want to give up football and take up rally driving, like AVB. We can offer more than PSG in all sorts of ways.

If it's true, and I hope it isn't, I wonder what has happened to long-term managers. Wenger is the only one still around while so many have been sacked and replaced, something we've suffered from over the seasons. Loyalty has to work both ways perhaps and there is far more pressure for success than ever.

A manager like MoPo could do well with Spurs if he wanted to stay long-term and was allowed to. He can achieve so much with us and for us. Continuity when you're getting things right is so important. And we are getting things right at long last.

He is being nice on a French Radio station... what is he going to say? 'Nah, Paris is a shit team and a shit city.' ???
No, he played there as a player and might ONE DAY be open to going there as a manager. Given his current age, one day could just as easily be in 20 years time as it is at the end of his current contract.

No, this story is about Poch looking at players from the French League that would fit in at Spurs. Move on, nothing to worry about here.

I hope so mate, losing Poch would be a hammer blow, especially after last week hearing Lloris saying the only reason he stayed was for Poch and I get the feeling that many of our players feel that way.

The days of long term managers are dead.
Wenger is on the verge of being lynched at the moment despite all that he's done for the scum.

It's a dream to coach PSG but Ligue 1 is not very attractive
Is he waiting for a call from Levy about a higher contract offer?
Well any coach would love to work with the players at PSG, also CL football every season plus he gets to live in one of the best cities, if not the best in the world.
I do happen to agree though, if there is anything to this it is about forcing Levy's hand. A similar thing happened with AVB, the difference being that Levy was prepared to let AVB go to PSG.

We all know trying to force Levy's hand never works and only then causes problems in the future.

Unfortunately his and our success will drive speculation into overdrive.. As long as we can give him what he wants in terms of players, environment and structure, then we should remain confident of keeping him
