What frightens me most about the prospect of Pochettino leaving the player exodus that would inevitably follow, a lot of our biggest players recently signed new contracts on the back of their relationship with the manager, and would want to play for him elsewhere, and for sure he would want to take most of them to United as they would improve their squad no end!

If he did go to utd they'd have to deal with levy to arrange a fee. You can bet 100% one of levy's stipulations would be that they do not try and sign any spurs players.

Agreed and then all those fans who give Levy a tough time will be praising him to the skies.

What good would that do when Kane and co roll up to his door and demand a transfer? I remember a similar sentiment from Daniel Levy about Bale. As we all know, these days, if a player wants to leave, ultimately he will leave!

Have we done any deals with chelsea since arnesen went there? No.

Why would kane etc... roll up to his door if there were no bids from utd?

United would not have to actually table a bid, if Pochettino was there, do your really think that if he wanted them to sign these players, then the players would not know about it? Then all they have to do, is tell the Chairman they want to leave.

Wut? Club wouldn't have to bid for a player to buy them? We just hand them over?

Nooooo, of course I am not saying that! I am saying that if the players see the manager they love and respect, managing another club, and that manager and other club make no secret of the fact that they would like to sign those players, then those players will want to leave.
