Hey.. just in the middle of some online poker and wondered if anyone on this site was into it.

I only play low limits, but i think im fairly decent player with a good knowledge of poker thanks to Dan Harrington :)

Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to talk about poker, whether it be certain hands, strategies, the best online sites, useful software like poker tracker, rakeback.. whatever really..

Yeah I play most days online, and once a week down the pub in a tournament myself and a couple of mates arranged. It's on a Tuesday night and it brings an extra 30-40 people to the pub on a night they normally wouldn't be there so that keeps the pub landlord happy.

Online I play at Ladbrokes, started there, left and tried out some other sites, but ended up going back to them, there's better qualty play and less muppets there.

Best poker website imo is cardplayer.com, great tournament coverage and plenty of other stuff on there.

I play nearly every day at Pokerstars.

I rarely play tournaments and concentrate on lower limit cash games, obviously like everybody these days my game of choice is Holdem.

I prefer the cash as you get less all-in all-in play compared to the tournaments, also you can play in a sit n go for an hour or more to win maybe $50 when you can win (or lose) that in seconds in cash games.

I love poker and Betfair trading as well.

Yeah I play poker, both online and live tournaments. Although have cut down this year, as wife doesn't like it too much!

For those not wanting to gamble away money, great little website which is completely free chips (and a chance to play big money tournaments) go to www.fulltiltpoker.net

A lot of us signed up to a website and had regular online tournaments (at least once or twice a week) to see who did the best whilst talking about it on here.

I used to play on pokerstars, but then i found out about rakeback, which is a site which lets you get a cut back of the rake the online sites charge you.

So i decided to play on fulltilt now, which has a great first time player bonus of up to 600 dollars.

Played a $8.80 entry tourney, with 180 players last night, and managed to win even tho i was short stack when i got to the final table. Won 388 dollars which is my biggest ever win :)

Fulltilt is a pretty good site id recommend it, prob has more donkeys than pokerstars!

Forgot to add in my earlier posts about the ladder tournaments on Ladbrokes where for $3 buy in, if you place in the top 3 in 3 STT's you make it to the Level 4 ladder where first prize is $500. I've taken this down twice and finished second once for $300 which is nice

People tend to play really tight in the L4 ladder cause it is either a $100 buy-in or 100 credits you have built up by playing the different ladders to enter so a bit of aggression is the way to beat these. Worth a try.

Indeed.

For every €174 in your account, there's always another day

Yeah sad isn't it, however this calender year to date I am ahead!

Not by much though, $230 up isn't a lot to be excited about over 6 weeks.:-|

I know what it feels like when you go on a cold run Legend. Some days you just keep getting bad beats, which leads to you making some stupid plays :)

Just gotta try and stop when its going shit and come back a few hours later or the next day. Yesterday i only made a small profit of $10. Could of been worse i guess!

I prefer tournaments as I'm quite a patient player.

Started off playing it on Facebook but recently started playing Tourneys on Will Hill.

I don't go in big tables, never spent more than fiver going into Tourney or Sit & Go.

I've done quite well, won £60 in a £4 Tourney few weeks back but don't play for money all that much.
