Clubs do not have a god Given right to exist just because its football. Rangers, Doncaster and Pompey are just Football's Woolworths, La Senza and Peacocks. They have a product, They have costs, and they need to operate within those parameters. If Rangers did that, maybe the likes of St Johnstone, Dundee Utd or Hearts could have been playing Champions League football by now.

You're right but the FA and Premier League have to take a massive amount of blame. When a new owner comes in, they are reviewed via Due Diligence to ensure that they are fit and proper owners.

The due diligence has been disgusting, purely to ramp up revenues.

How the hell were Gaydamak, Shiniwatra, Craig Whyte, Gillett and Hicks allowed to own Portsmouth, Man City, Rangers and Liverpool if they clearly did not have the funds to buy or maintain these clubs?! (Excuse the spellings).

You have these owners who come in, suck the life from a club and leave. And its the fans who suffer. But I guess that is football these days.

Another brighter note, if they do go to the wall the points that other teams have gained from them will be expunged, and Wet Spam will drop out of the automatic promotion places.
