Actual real life dog shite.

And I had his name on the back of my shirt as a youngling.

Really backed the wrong horse there.

Really loved this boy when he came. It didn't work out unfortunately, though, he was regarded really highly throughout Europe. I think Jose gave his opinion on why it didn't work for him.

If only he scored them two easy chances at Highbury I think it could have improved a lot.

Ended up being very poor. We were lucky to get some cash back plus Mendes thrown in

There was a player in there, he just didn't score early enough, confidence got shot to pieces. I remember a home game early on when he was outstanding but just didn't score.

He was better than Pav has ever been

I think that's almost the worst thing you can say about a player :)

If you're just naturally shite then fair enough...that's just fate. But if you have the skills and don't use them then I think that makes a player much much worse.

We have quite a few of those on our books at the moment in Pav (although I debate his actual ability) GDS, Bentley etc.

I'm pretty sure ur referring to the home game vs Leeds Spurs Bear, his home debut, gave them the run around and looked pretty good, almost scored a cracker at the Paxton end but just over. Won 2-1, Treacle and Kanoute. But he never reached that level of performance again, although can't be easy for a new player with the manager who signed him gone after 6 games and replaced with Bleat
