Thought he was unlucky to of been sacked by us, it seemed more a problem with Ramos than with Poyet as well. However he's done brilliant with Brighton after escaping relegation struggles last season to getting promoted comfortably.

Just got Brighton promoted to the Championship.

Not a club with the biggest resources in that division, but they've run away it with it this season and have played fantastic passing football to boot.

A great achievement.

Be nice if you could ever bring yourself to praise Redknapp for his achievements here in a similar way...

They're making hard work of it! Sounds like a great game though - 4-3 with about half an hour left.

It was a superb game. 1-0 down, 2-1 up, 3-2 down and then 4-3 up. A superb 3rd goal from ex-chelsea player Liam Bridcutt. My hangover will be entirely blamed on Gus and Tano

Thats not strictly true actually. New chairman Tony Bloom has ploughed a fair bit of money in already and won't be afraid to splash the cash on the squad for next season.

I was already to drive down there and give someone a good kickin, starting with you, when Dagenham went up.

I didn't win my biggie, but I still won 570 quid on my smaller ACCA

To be fair, Dagenham are fighting for their lives at the moment and they looked a pretty decent side(albeit helped by some defending which would have made ginger pele proud ) A thoroughly deserved win though, i'm still a little shocked at how well Gus has got them playing to be honest. Long gone are the days when Guy Butters used to hoof it upfield for Bobby Zamora to chase.

Gus Poyet's Brighton could secure promotion to the Championship tonight if they Beat Dagenham & Redbridge. Brighton are currently 13 points clear at the top of League 1 having not lost a home league game for over a year. They move into their new stadium for the start of next season and are also playing the best football i've seen in 10 years.

Congrats to Gus and Tano

10? Try fucking thirty!

Awesome win and brilliant for the club and the city. Especially given the move to the Amex Arena or whatever its name is. It's taken 28 years for Albion to sort themselves out and it's brilliant that it's Gus that's helped them do it.

Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea-gulls.
