Makes you realise finishing in top four or winning a cup doesn't really matter... Hope you pull through, thoughts and prayers are with ya

Just got home from game, I feel so empty have been crying all way home. Brought back some terrible memories for me. I am not religious but if there is someone up there I hope they help him through it

Sorry for all of you who were at the game, that must have been a very difficult thing to witness. Was watching on tv and they immediately moved the camera to the side as not to show it, right then I knew it was bad. The players reactions and many in the crowd told the story. Makes me feel distraught.

Maybe not the thread to say it in, but my bloods boiling thanks to the short, baldy tw@t in the Pub who kept calling Webb a wanker for the hold up and when it was pointed out that the guy might be dead, said so fucking what, they should just get on with it, and continued to curse and moan, as if the match was all that mattered. Even his mates looked embarrassed.

I'd get banned if I said what he was, but that's exactly what he was!!

I wonder if it's a case of an undiagnosed enlarged heart. That's usually the case over here when a high school or college athlete collapses like that. Shame.

To all those at the ground, you were a real credit to the club so dignified.

People like that just dont deserve a place in society, pure and utter scum.

Can't believe they announced they had abandoned the match before the ambulance had a chance to get clear of the ground, who's stupid idea was that? I hope they are sacked first thing on Monday morning.

Best wishes to Muamba, hope he pulls through.

To be fair, they did not allow the West Stand fans to leave until after the ambulance had gone.

Let's hope that Patrice pulls through.

A Spurs fan came running down shouting that he was a cardiologist. The stewards let him on and he also went to the hospital with #Muamba #2pl

From twitter.

So pleased to hear he is stable, was expecting the worst while hoping for the best. Even I as a confirmed atheist couldn't help but send a message to the mythical big fella in the sky from the East Upper. Good luck Fabrice.

The guy deserves a medal or something.

Was at the game, saw him collapse as was giving Webb a mouthful.

Just one of the most upsetting things I have witnessed first hand, having on internet coming home on the tube didn't help, was so relieved when the news came in that he was stable.

All those who helped him are absolute heroes, hope he manages to make a full recovery.

Thoughts and prayers with him.

Would love it if we could do something in unity with the Bolton fans when the game is replayed (a chant or a banner). Would really be nice to show unity on a human level beyond club allegiance.

I still feel a bit in shock after witnessing that today. Very subdued going home. We listened to Talksport but of course there was no news at that time. I was so relieved to hear he was stable. It's a miracle he's alive. I think had this problem surfaced at almost any other time, he wouldn't be here. The medical staff saved his life, pure and simple.
