Does anyone know if the Arsenal game is gonna open up for general sale? Me and my brother normally take my dad to the big pre-season home game, but it seems they’re holding out longer for ticket holders and members for this particular game?

Cool, got our tickets today, cant wait. COYS

I have my tickets for the arsenal game. Got some in the south stand as i haven't been in that part before.

By the way has anybody had any problems with the ID validation that was brought in, mine is at pending. I was only aware of it since earlier this week so submitted it.
Just an update that might help some but if you have ID validation still set to pending and nobody has been in touch then you can call the hotline and go to the membership section. They can check your ID situation and fix it over the phone.

According to my account I don't have the tickets but I have an order confirmation?

Edit: just re-read the confirmation email and it should be sent 48-72 hours prior to the fixture and I just did my ID verification.

Looking at the seats sold for the Arsenal game although still two weeks to go the sales are hardly inspiring with thousands of seats available. When the seats first went on sale to ST's and members the upper tier was available but looking at the ticket page just now the upper tier appears not now available.

They’re too expensive and the amount that’s going to charity for a match billed as a charity match is pretty measly. If it was at Arsenal I bet they’d have similar problems shifting the tickets.

Well, Arsenal are playing Chelsea at home in this, so I guess we'll see. But I really don't think this is about one-off pricing. Many fans are just either really, really pissed off with the club right now, or past the point of caring.

Yeah I suspect that’s also part of it.

That's just projecting your own feelings though.

Doesn't matter who the opponent was, it's unlikely we'd sell out a preseason friendly when people can buy tickets to the real thing. Getting 40-50k is still a great number.

Yeah, that'd be decent if we actually get that much.

I do remember though that when things were generally more positive, we played Gent a few seasons back. Albeit the Europa League rather than a friendly. But it was a cold Thursday night, at soulless Wembley, after the disappointment of not getting out of the CL group stage.

We sold out 90k with room to spare.

The feeling around the club matters and it's hardly just mine.

Attendance was listed as 80k for that game. Regardless, it was a competitive knockout round fixture, it's not remotely comparable.

Not everyone's as down on the club as you are, you know.

I'll put it like this. Our last home game was like nothing I've ever experienced in 20 years or so of going to games in the sheer ferocity of opposition to what's been going on.

I agree on price , being an oldie £15 for me is OK but £30 with so little going to charity is a bit much which I wouldn't have paid .
We might see Gollini but any other signings I doubt we will see, they might get introduced but on the pitch playing is very unlikely . Really not sure what our team against Man C a week later is going to look like with Euros and Olympics .

i agree with this. Its not very optimistic at the moment.

We still havent improved on Sissoko and winks. Nothing personal against those players, who always give 100% on the pitch but we have needed a progressive CM for a long time now. This has not been addressed yet.

The right back position has not been addressed yet either.

Meanwhile, last seasons top 4 still look good.

less than 3 weeks before season starts.

Will lo celso and Ndombele finally show there value? Been here for 2 years now.

Not going to get excited by a spanish kid until he performs consistently. Most didnt have a clue who he was until we were linked.

Just too many questions at the moment to get excited about.

Club will take a lot of flack for this, but it wasn't their choice. Can hardly just wait for it to become mandatory without a plan in place. Don't like it? Blame the government.

On the bright side, it's very easy, only took five minutes! And hopefully it makes some feel more comfortable with attending.

Don't think you can blame the club for the trial but for some who may not want to bother with testing etc there is no offer of a refund .

Wonder if for those who have the Covid pass for double vaccination, once it has been scanned into the club records will that be it for all the games throughout the season and not have to do it for every game.

Not hard at all to do a lateral flow to be honest, literally takes 10 minutes.

I was thinking the same thing, but I guess the problem is that when approaching the stadium, there's no way to tell whether they're someone who's shown it before or not. I guess the info would have to be linked to tickets with the passport check then immediately following the ticket check, with only those who haven't already proven their vax status being sent into line for it.

Curious that so few pictures from pre-season training being put out by the club, in comparison with previous seasons. Wonder if that’s a Nuno request, or if they don’t want us to see who’s not there.

First game tonight that I will be able to watch this pre season. Really up for it and will be very interesting to see, who we will include tonight and who will be left out.

Personally hope Parrott, Scarlett, John and Pasktosi still get some minutes.

People who have been double jabbed, have you got your covid pass on the NHS app? Had my second on 16th June and still not been uploaded. Need it for the Arsenal game next week.
