I'd give a peno for that. When the defender gets turned, is stretching out over the player and falls over its pretty obvious the defender is out of control of the situation.
I would as well. Monreal is trying to fall into the player or in the way of the ball.

There was a similar moment in the A-League tonight, Brisbane vs Sydney, and the defender got a yellow when you could argue he was last man and would have left the Sydney player through on goal.

I think it's similar to Redknapp trying to toughen up Bale in some respects but just handled poorly as Redknapp only went public on the Bale situation afterwards.
There's toughening up and burying. Mourinho has strayed into burying territory for me. He should understand the issues for a young man coming back from a bad break; the criticism didn't need to be public.

Watching arsenal against us and here I'm amazed that have won so many games this season as they seem lightweight up top.

Haha Martin Tyler referring to Jamie Redknapp as a "bitter and twisted ex footballer" was hilarious even it was in jest. Poor Jamie.

Agree. They could use Giroud (a focal point) here. Xhaka as well because neither Coquelin nor Elneny can deliver a ball. There is zero midfield play by either team here. Good thing >120M combined wasn't spent to bolster those positions. Lastly, Pogba is shit.

Arsenal look really poor to be honest. United haven't looked great despite improving a lot these last 10 or so minutes but with their team I don't expect as much as I do when I look at Arsenal's. Ozil's been quiet again as he was against us, as has Alexis also to be fair apart from a couple of glimpses of play. Hasn't been any sustained pressure from Arsenal this half at all.

Sanchez is so deep which is great for United because he can't influence anything from where he is on the pitch.

Ozil completely anonymous again, never turns up for the 'big' matches.
Now I've said that the frog eyed little fucker will score 1 and assist one.
