Lol Liverpool! Klopp is getting fired at the end of the season. Watch.
I doubt it, he signed a six year deal last season....it'll cost them a fortune to pay him off, and who are they going put in his place?

I think you missed the point - Harry could very well win it...but it may be down to Jesus and Aguero splitting a lot of goals for City, instead of a single striker scoring most of their goals.

Harry has to share our goals with Dele, Eriksen and Son

United are still kind of toothless, and also don't even have that great of a defense on paper. For me Chelsea is probably a more effective team than City. If they can emulate their form from last season they're probably the only side that can challenge.

I think top 3 of us, Chelsea, and City.

United are Toothless? United are one of the only two teams so far in the PL to be in double figures for goals scored.
As for United defence, did they not have the second best defence in the league last season after us?

Maybe Simeone. That would be scary. It's really hard to say right now. That question would be easier to answer at the end of the year. The same exact thing happened to Klopp at Dortmund though. He's a one trick pony. Once you figure out the trick he's really got nothing else. Dortmund fans really wanted him out too in the end.

It's not smart to judge after 3-4 games. Yes last season they had the 2nd best defense, but they only scored 54 goals compared to over 80 for City, ourselves, and Chelsea. What's changed in their attack from last season? Lukaku has replaced Ibrahimovic, but Ibrahimovic scored a lot of goals for them and it's unlikely that Lukaku will significantly increase that tally.

You can't argue that United's defenders are better than Chelsea's or our's. So they have, at best, the 3rd best defense and the 5th or 6th best attack - that's not going to be good enough to win the league imo.

bet365 had it down as 32 attempts, and 22 of those off target. wish they would be as wasteful when they play us.

Yeah against the better teams they tend to put away their chances, but against teams like Burnley they struggle to finish. Must be frustrating.

I'm not saying they have the best attack or anything but to say their toothless feels like you're doing them a disservice for me. Lukaku has added a lot to them already, he's such a different player to Zlatan and makes them more direct which so far is working. Plus adding Matic frees up Pogba and the rest of the team to be more attacking. Not to mention tactically Mourinho seems to be more into winning than just not losing so far this season.

As for their defence, it's Mourinho. So individually you can certainly argue that ours or Chelsea's defence is better on paper but Mourinho sets his teams up so well to defend as a team. It's why they had such a good defence last year and this year they've only added to it.

Sim is not going to be leaving Atletico anytime soon, and even if he does it will be to replace Conte at Chelsea when they lose 3 games in a row and Roman decides to swing his big 3 inch Russian axe.

AFAIK Simeone is more confident in Atletico's board and their chances of helping him achieve personal goals since the upgrades to the stadium, which means a lot financially for the club. Even if they do lose Griezmann, the fact that they are pushing so hard for Costa shows the board is trying to back Sim in anyway possible so they can to keep him happy and to keep his ass in the seat.

Sanchez on the bench

The gooners and Liverpool have royally fucked up with their approach to keeping their star players. If they want out there's little point in keeping them, and it will put off potential new signings if they think those clubs would put the blocks on potential progress in their careers.

I understand not selling to a rival (like us refusing to sell Modric to Chelscum), but refusing to sell a player to the likes of Barca is a massive warning to anyone thinking of joining Arsenal or Liverpool.
