Son is excellent and I love him, but Salah has been better this season and much more consistant. Obviously Son hasn’t played as much, and if he can play like he has of late against the best of the best then I may change my mind. But currently I would pick Salah ahead of Son if I had to choose one.

You could argue that if Son was played every game in Liverpool’s 433 as a wide forward, he wouldn’t be far off Salah’s tally.

There is zero chance chelsea drop out of the top 4

Why? They're only three points ahead of us and their only trusted striker send to have lost his confidence. The manager isn't happy with his squad and they have a lot of games coming up.

Have you watched Chelsea recently? We're only three points behind and they are not looking good right now. United also had three draws in a row against poorer sides before they beat Everton and have a few slip-ups left in them.

Liverpool are playing superbly and City are oceans ahead but why resign yourself to fifth when we are still going for second?

Also we have scored 1more goal than Man U, albeit having played one more match.

We are on on roll too.

This shoreline would be a bit different if Pep allowed his defenders to simply clear a ball .

Watching Liverpool do this, then watching their karmic, inbred, American cousins the Pittsburgh Steelers probably do this directly after is more than I can take. I’m going hear FIVE TIMES and SIX RINGS so much today I think I’m going to puke.

And that includes Liverpool. There is a reason Liverpool are only 3 points ahead of us. While there home form is outstanding, away from home they are a lot like us. I think they’ll get top 4, but the battle between us, United, Chelsea and Liverpool isn’t done yet.

Liverpool have just strengthened their weakest position though and spent a fortune doing so.

Can't stand the idea of Liverpool finishing above us, isn't a club in this league that I hate more than them, I can't even stand the idea of them ending the run City are on because it's all we will hear about for the rest of the season.
Cue DVD release tomorrow...

I think it would take something miraculous for Pool to drop out of the top 4 as things stand, the momentum from this win alone will probably carry them until the end of the season.

The only thing that could possibly stop that momentum would be us but we both know we will likely lose at Anfield.

How a miracle?

Lpool have played well today but they've got lucky aswell, I could still see them dropping points.

Also I don't get this 'anfield' thing, it literally mean nothing. Who cares if we haven't won there that many times in 100 years or whatever, the current team have lost one and drawn one (not that it impacts anything at all). Whoever plays better on the day will win.

Liverpool look locked on for 2nd place now. They've stopped the daft results against the smaller teams and are always good in the big games.
