Not really. All four of our rivals were dead certs to win. There was no way any of them were slipping up. Win tomorrow and it's as you were.

Burnley not getting something was a disappointment. And you expected Palace to do a bit more.

They’ve been in free fall for a while. The Marco Silva myth beginning to unravel.
Don't think it's a myth. He's a very good coach. I think the players lost focus too as there would have been plenty of uncertainty around the club. They were looking very good up until that moment. Now majority of the club (players and coaching staff) were probably unsettled with the situation and they haven't been able to regroup.

If Southampton had any sense they should remove Pellegrino and get Silva in pronto.

What’s he done that’s so good? Watford played well for 2 months, that’s it. He got Hull relegated. The media push this perception he’s a good manager when he’s just an average one and one of mourinho’s mates. The reason he’s managing in England in the first place.

He didn't "get Hull relegated", he almost saved a hopeless club in a hopeless situation but it was a task with a 95% chance of failure.

How weird. Why fight to keep hold of him just to sack him so soon after.
Bet they wish they'd taken the compensation they were offered by Everton now.

I think he's worth another job in the PL. Decent manager, but I think the players lost focus and form at Watford.
