This is a bit of Arsenal v Everton result for them, for sure.

Still frustrating that we still can’t break into the top four in the table,

The difference here is Hazard. West Brom should have had a pen and they've been extremely wasteful as well. Not played that bad - just not clinical enough.

I think Christiansen makes a big difference for them too. Only one who does any organising.

All we need to do is make sure we take care of our own business and we'll be there soon enough. Chelsea's schedule is brutal.

True but its now 4 clubs fighting for 3 CL places, and we have the majority of the hardest games out of the way.

I think we can do it.

Which club out of these 4 is under the most pressure to finish in the top4?
United must be surely, although Mourinho normally rises to the pressure in these situations.
Liverpool can't afford to be without CL the way that they spend beyond their means. Plus the likes of Sala could get itchy feet if not secured.
Chelsea will probably just rinse and repeat although their strategy recently has been a mess.
Whereas we probably need it to attract other players but I think we'd be fine regardless, therefore probably aren't under as much pressure.

Shame, that was an interesting game up until 2-0, with Chelsea looking very ordinary and West Brom having plenty of ball and situations.

It's the games against the 'weaker' teams that we have to raid our game - no silly slip ups there.

We'll be up for the Chelsea away and City home games for sure.

I'm sure we can do it.

It just shows how football doesn't really make sense. Chelsea have looked poor tonight and are cruising. We smashed Arsenal and nearly ended up with a draw.

I don't mind this result though, it papers over the cracks for them.

It's perfectly normal though, that's just exactly what football can be like. On another day we would have smashed Arsenal 4-0, we're not gonna miss that amount of clear chances in a single match every time.

Agree that this result papers over the cracks though! If anything the performance (from what I saw) encourages me that they have lost their way, as strange as that may seem due to the result.

We can’t afford any more results like not beating West Brom or Swansea at home though and hope that some of the teams down the wrong end of the table beat the teams round us.

Do you think there is ever an occasion where Hazard doesn’t have a smug grin on his face?
He didn't when Dier nearly cut him in two that time. Not one for that kind of thing normally but it was Chelsea, and it was Hazard so it's all good.

Can't wait for him to go to Madrid.

That would keep Conte safe for a little while longer, and that's to our advantage.

Chelsea may have won this evening but after the Hull FA Cup tie, let's see how they fare after having to play three the following three games in a row. Barcelona (H), Man Utd (A), and Man City (A).....
